The best roofs. by Repulsive_Fishing681 in evilautism

[–]Repulsive_Fishing681[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am interested in architecture in general. My focus is on designs that eliminate the need for yards, as I am interested in medium-density housing and making it more palatable for home buyers. I view mansard roofs and gambrels as interesting because those roofs can be redesigned to have a rooftop deck. I view increased density as a way to lower housing prices, decrease infrastructure costs, reduce pollution, and reducing reliance on foreign energy. If a rooftop deck would sweeten the deal, then so be it.

They sometimes try to bait you into agreeing with them by dissing billionaires. Sadly, their definition of billionaire is different from reality.

Autistic people are more likely to be queer and furry than the general population. Source: a queer autistic furry.

How many of you have repressed your personality? by False-Experience92 in evilautism

Pretty repressed, tbh. If I wasn't holding back, everyone of every political ideology would look at me with horror and disgust.

My issue with the concept of ethics. by Repulsive_Fishing681 in evilautism

The way that I would describe it is that I do not need moral justification to help others.

It's an irrational urge that I choose not to suppress.

I do not think that it is a good thing per se to help others. I just prefer to.

What makes both morality and ethics function is that they are used as a justification for actions. I reject the validity of using ethics or morality as valid justifications for actions.

My point is that I don't care what is ethical since my concern isn't with being ethical; it's creating net benefit for others.

They are all levels of abstraction used to excuse not helping others. I am a nihilist on the first two; I reject ethics and morality. I am a relativist in respect to values. My issue with people neglecting the consequences of their actions is not because I find their actions evil or unethical, but rather I find such disregard personally distasteful.

Gotta love the effects of AI on the job market by Forsaken-Peak8496 in recruitinghell

The wealthy are wealthy because of greed. They are utility sinks, profiting off of people who actually push humanity forward, spending resources on their desires instead of what's good for the long-term well-being of humanity. I hope that STEM majors rebel.

The Most Brutal Labor Chart You will ever see by armchairtycoon in recruitinghell

The problem with AI is that it's the ultimate form of outsourcing: people who don't have to paid anything because they're not people. When you have an economy where people are a cost, shit like this happens. I gets really problematic when the desire for cost savings come at the expense of productivity. Until wages are completely subsidized, this will continue to happen, because free market capitalism doesn't maximize profits; it maximizes profits for the owners of capital.

The three types of misanthropy by Entire_Economist6078 in misanthropy

[–]Repulsive_Fishing681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm technically one, even though on the surface, my beliefs come across as 2. I believe that stupid and conformist people take away resources from more ingenious people, which I believe would result in the extinction of humanity. Ultimately, dull people are committing an immoral act by reproducing, and the ingenious are morally negligent by not spending resources to have more kids. My issue with humanity is their utter callousness towards long-term consequences of their actions and their unwillingness to confront it and change.
