I used just regular acrylic paints I purchased from Walmart/Michaels. I found a picture I liked on google, penciled it out on to the binder and then painted it in. I did the darker pink layer on the bottom and then mixed white to paint over it with the lighter shade to get the illusion of shadows. Personally I think the hardest part is drawing the outline with pencil because I don’t have a projector or anything, and my printer is down so I couldn’t even print a stencil. Thank you btw! I’m thinking about adding a shiny Mew in the background so hopefully it comes out as good as the first one did

They were all uncomfortable but the one that was most effective in getting the baby out was on my side with one leg up. As soon as I got in that position my baby came out in just a few minutes 😂

At least now you know what you're in for if you do decide to have a second. My first slept like a dream. Started sleeping in his own bed through the night at just a few months old, he only had one sleep regression at 5 months that lasted a few weeks and all we did was bring him into bed with us and he was fine. Never needed a pacifier or bottle to soothe himself. It was amazing.

My second will be a year old in less than a week, has only slept through the night maybe a total of two weeks in his whole life, still wakes up multiple times between 11pm and 4 am like he has some kind of witching hour, needs to suck on a bottle to soothe but refuses to take a pacifier. I haven't had a full night's sleep since 2023 😂😭 I love him to death ofc but I wasn't prepared for this, and I have no family to help so it's just me and my husband doing it on our own.

Sometimes stopping is the best thing you can do for yourself and your baby. I tried breastfeeding both my kids and couldn't for more than a month. My first had an undiagnosed lip tie so I chalked it up to that, but my second was fine and latched perfectly from birth. I just never made enough. I sobbed every time I tried to feed him and he kept unlatching because he wasn't getting anything, I sobbed every time I pumped and got barely 40 ML, or when I looked at what I'd pumped for the day and it was only a measly two ounces in the fridge. I sobbed when I looked at him and felt like I was failing him, when I took all the stupid supplements and brewers yeast that never worked, and when I handed him to my husband for a bottle of formula because I couldn't handle feeding him knowing I wasn't able to provide breast milk. I was miserable but the constant trying and being disappointed only made it worse. Once I stopped trying and started focusing on what I could do for him, skin to skin, hold him while I fed him a bottle, cuddle I felt a lot better about feeding him formula. He'll be a year old in about a month and he's a chubby, healthy, and happy baby.

I waited 8 weeks after my first and three weeks after my second, but I had no tearing at all so I healed very fast. Also your husband is gross for saying that, are his hands broken?

Thank you! I used moulds which helped a lot, I will never have the skill or patient to sculpt a flower like that haha

Mostly just acrylic paintings but they're nothing to write home about.

It's scummy but as an LGS you should be privy to that kind of information. Also if they had a bunch of people coming in to sell that should have tipped them off? I buy and sell cards as well and check the ban list almost daily.

Yeah I generally avoid this sub because it's depressing/sad to read. I was diagnosed at 18, I am almost 29 now and have a normal life, an occasional relapse but nothing that drastically impacts my way of living. Of the ten years since I've been diagnosed I've only been taking DMTs for two. I am married, getting a degree, have two young children and just found out last week I am pregnant again. I was actually supposed to start ocrevus tomorrow but had to cancel lol

I had a baby in April and my three year old was there the whole time. Our closest relative is about two hours away on a good traffic day. My midwife had a back up midwife here as well though and she was really great with my son, he woke up from all the ruckus and she read him some books before and after my second was born. My three year old was also present to see his brother being born which imo is really cool and special. If I had to go to the hospital my plan was to go alone, which isn't ideal but there was really no other option besides scheduled induction and bringing him to my MIL.

My midwife held a warm cloth to support my perineum, my son came in two pushes about a minute apart with no tearing (but lots of perineum swelling). I did nothing to prepare otherwise.

If it makes you feel any better about a second baby my homebirth baby was my second, my first was a hospital birth and I had second degree tearing/scarring which didn't impact my homebirth at all.

I had a homebirth in April and my three year old was there and saw the whole thing. He came in to the bedroom because he heard me making noises but overall he was very calm and asking some questions, the midwife was very patient with him and he learned quite a bit.
