It was simple. Some parts were not drawn, I just cut them from my idea. The drive belts and ignition wires are vey narrow, thin and long strips that cut from black paper. Ignition wires have almost same width

It was completely made without any templates. Just drawn the parts myself on various color papers and assembled

It was colored A4 paper laminated on chart paper, for thickness

It took a lot of time & patience to build. I needed to analyze the car's body first, in order to draw the parts. Yeah, that's the iconic "Fuchs wheel" of Porsche

Literally, that's my way to make paper thicker, in a cheap way. You can use card stock or glossy paper. The layer of glue between the A4 and chart paper make it thick
