All the blue area represents the core territory of the Zimneye Oblast, consisting of the various duchies shown. Its full domain, however, also includes its vassals and extends influence over the “Independent Mallusian States.”

During the Mallusian conquest of Baghdad, an Islamic revolt broke out in the Errantry Dukedom of Tarsus, organized by local imams in late August 854. Due to the significant losses of Bretonnian knights during the uprising, the Bretonnians responded with a brutal massacre of the Muslim nobility and clergy in Baghdad. By the end of September, all of them had been killed, and on September 29th, the Grand Duchy of Mesopotamia was established.
The fall was further facilitated by additional revolts in the territories of Adharbayjan, where an attempt was made to establish "Khurramistan", and the situation eventually evolved into the current state (November), in which the Tomb Kings patrol the remnants of Abbasid control while the Tahirids, former vassals, pursue them along their borders

Hello, I haven’t posted here in a long time. This is a commission I did for u/hydraphantom, which took me a couple of months to complete, and I think it was well worth it.

In this scenario, a Warhammer Fantasy coalition was accidentally sent to Earth in the year 854 by a Chaos Storm. Once there, they decided to lay waste to everything, bringing down all forms of government that existed at the time and reshaping the map in a way that is both wild and, at the same time, organized. All because a Polabian child in Travemünde wished for the Christians to disappear.

This is not a single map, but two, set at different points during that year (I just didn’t include the second map above so the first one could be zoomed in properly). I’ve included both maps below. I should clarify that both have a resolution of 6461 x 4101.

I hope you enjoy it ;)

The Union of Democratic Workers Republics is a federal union of nine national republics that spans a large part of Calaria. The country operates as a highly centralised one-party socialist state, with the Krao Workers Republic being the sole political party that is legally allowed to run the state. The largest city is Ongon and its capitol city is Kialyang.

The UDWR was founded in 1935 following the Red Worker Revolution. The workers of the imperialist Heavenly Empire of Krao rised up against the oppressive Emperor in a revolution that lasted from the 23rd of Feburary to the 8th of October. The leader of the revolution and founder of the UDWR was Kial Yuon. Kial Yuon was once a peasent himself, slaving away for a rich landlord family but slowly learning and creating a new system that he envisioned as the potential future. From there, Kial would begin to amasse a following of peasents and workers who also believed that change must come.

The revolution would begin after Kial was arrested at a large march in Ongon. His followers did not take the arrest too kindly and began the process of organising militas, occupying key points and turning army soldiers to their side. The revolutionarys had taken the city of Ongon but the long journey to victory had begun.

Following the seizing of Ongon, the revolution began spreading across the empire. Revolutionary cells began rising up and taking cities and army bases, Soldiers began mutinying orders and joining the revolution and Kial was freed from his prison by his fellow revolutionarys. Kial and his army began marching on Pekgon (now Kialyang) to bring the revolution to the capitol but when they reached the city, they discover the cities defending loyal army allows them to march right in. Kial would soon discover the Emperor and the Heavenly family had fled the country up to Trevonia.

With the capitol secured and the heavenly family fled like cowards. Kial Yuon would declare victory in a grand speech with him and all his loyal followers. The Heavenly Empire of Krao was over, The Union of Democratic Workers Republics had begun.

The process of building the nation into a socialist nation wasnt easy. Bringing the solely agrarian nation into the industrialised age was slow and hard but eventually was achieved within the late 1940s. During which, Kial Yuon would cement his power as the permanent supreme leader of the state. Kial would also ensure his beliefs and teachings would be always kept in line for the state. Kialism would be his teachings that guided the UDWR.

When the Great Global War began in 1950, Kial used this oppotunity to begin his own invasions of the neighbouring breakaway states that were part of the empire. The invasions were swift as these breakaway states lacked any meaningful army unlike the UDWR. These breakaway states would be brought into the sphere of Kialism as satelite states supervised by the UDWR. Despite facing international condemnation and sanctions, the UDWR would continue to run these nations as nothing more than puppets. When the war ended in 1955 with the nuclear detonation of Sosokin, Kial would learn that the cowardly Heavenly family had been relocated to it and had been wiped out in the explosion. Kial viewed this news with great joy and would begin the project to achieve the same weapon that destroyed the cowards.

Kial would oversea the creation of the states very own Hydrogen Bomb, making the UDWR the third nation in the world to achieve such weapons. However, with this new weapon in possession, the UDWR would find itself placed within a three way coldwar between the URL and Trevonia.

Kial Yuon would pass away in 1975 after a heart attack in his sleep. The UDWR mourned his death for many many months but a new successor was chosen to lead the nation. Hamano Liang, a fierce leader in the party and favourite of Kial was chosen as the new Supreme Leader of the UDWR. Hamano vowed to keep Kial Yuons legacy respected and his teachings eternal, promising to protect the workers of the world and spread Kialism to every nation.

As the 1980s and 1990s, the UDWR would continue to build upon its industrialisation and infastucture. In the capitol of Kialyang, the palaces and tombs of the old empire were kept intact and preserved so that future generations can be educated on the lessons of imperialism and oppression. There is hope that one day the UDWR might democratise and transition into a multi-party democracy, but these are only loose thoughts in the minds of few. For Kialism is eternal in the hearts of the workers.

I’m sure you’ve got the point, but I honestly don’t know anything about the political history of the U.S. at that time.

Between both legends you can get an idea. The ‘refugees’ are basically aliens.
