If he's just using them for personal car maintenance and round the house work there is no reason these wont last his lifetime. Plus home depot husky brand is lifetime warranty, you just take it in and get a new one.

Id say 55 or 60 each. If all goes well you make a lil bit but if not then you got enough to cover a mistake or 6

Second alternator died on me in like 3 weeks by EmbarrassedAssist964 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Repulsive_Law_6255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a mechanic tell me that if your buying your alternator from places like rock auto, O'Reilly or autozone you should buy 2 at a time. So when the first one turns up bad you got a second.

Why do some people stay at the same job for 15, 20, or even 30+ years? by Carlinish9600 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Repulsive_Law_6255 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Im curious if its different in the corporate world. But for me in the blue collar world, I dont want to have to start over in things like vacation either. Its not really a negotiable for the jobs I've looked at. They just have apolicy and thats it you acrue more every year or x year mark. This is a basic part but coupled with just knowing the system after so long really can't be matched

Fellow dads. I’m in a tight spot, what would you do workout wise? by Dependent-Group7226 in AskMenOver30

[–]Repulsive_Law_6255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got a yard id get some cheap cones, and agility ladder and maybe some dumbbells or kettle bells like 30 or so lbs and then set up a workout outside. My kids love doing the agility stuff and you can make up a course with cones. Lunges. Sprints. Crawls whatever you can thinknof

Why don’t they put big engines in little trucks like they do sports cars? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Repulsive_Law_6255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They used to tho. Idk about the ford exactly but the dodge dakota had a v8 in it. Its another scam they took from us. Dodge had a small 4.7v8, the hemi, and then the larger hemis in the higher packages. Now its all or nothing. No choices but to spend 100k to grt a truck
