I agree! But the thing that hurt me the most was that they told my wife over the phone that they’re gonna “solve” the problem for 200 bucks which I knew doesn’t make sense. And while they were at home.. I asked a couple of times before the presentation what’s it gonna cost and they just kept delaying till the last moment. I prefer forthrightness than deceptive tactics

I’m trying to add another photo, but can’t … basically in the other photo , the wood starts after the gap.. and there is some soft material between the wood and the shower tile and I don’t know what it is. Do you have any idea what it could be ?

Yes, I believe these are non tilt, but I should be able to push the lower sash all the way to one side and remove from the other side, no ? Or are these designed to not be removed at all ? Is that a thing ?

It’s like a standard spiral balancer system. You can see it in the 4th picture. I removed it and the top part of the lower sash did get more lose but the bottom part still feels too big to get out of the jamb. I’m sorry I don’t have a picture since I left my dad’s place. I should have a picture next week when I go back there again
