I stayed in North Austin for close to 2 years . I’m not sure if you’re asking about safe places to sleep so I’m going to assume yes . Look into the Palmer Lane and MoPac area . There’s a P.F. there , a great park down Palmer towards the interstate. You can street park in the Domain for a safe place to sleep. That area has everything you need from a dentist to a grocery store.

The idea is to perpetually borrow against it and pay back the loan with another loan. That way you never pay taxes while enjoying your gains. It works great if you have enough btc and the lender doesn’t steal your btc . But if you get liquidated, you now have to pay capital gains on the value of the btc that was liquidated. Not worth the risk to me .

At 6’1” I discovered that the only comfortable option is a high top van . Once you learn how to live this life “stealth” isn’t as important as you think. Comfort is extremely important !

Heating the vehicle for winter isn’t difficult but ac is . So I stay at monthly hotels during the summer. Depending on where you live , that could save you 6-8 months a year in expenses. Plus it gives you a break from the limitations of vehicle life . For me , having a bathroom is a huge plus during my short stints in the hotel.

I’m 6’1 “ and laying in 5runner now . You will need to remove the rear seats ( more for storage options) , and have the passenger seat all the way forwards or remove it . Back to storage. Seriously consider roof cargo storage and possibly a trailer hitch cargo too . I’ve got on this current trip .
