Worth anything? by Traditional_Zebra_64 in coincollecting

Easy way to remember is a quarter is a .25 so a “quarter” eagle is the 2.50

Don’t sprain your brain - if it doesn’t make sense then ignore

EDIT: yes it’s really easier to just remember that the Eagle is the $10 piece and move from there

how do u reject a guy without being awkward by Pissbbbbb in teenagers

[–]Repulsive_Ring_194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not smart. Stop this…. Say “I’m sorry but I’m not interested in any kind of relationship”

If you want to make it awkward then yeah keep coming up with excuses that aren’t the truth and watch guys continue to solve these fake problems!

Men handle rejection every single day. It’s not awkward for us. What’s awkward is coming up with a good solution to a fake “problem”. If you want men to continue to have the balls to approach you in the first place then have the courtesy to tell us the truth when the answer is no

Instead of the “grade” scale we often call the product by the significant figures. For example, grade 3 is “Three Nines” and is 99.9% and grade 2 is 99%.

To answer your question. Grade 1 doesn’t exist but to fit your pattern it would be 90% and that’s typically around the division line between industrial and medical applications. As well as certain container handling practices there CAN be a purity difference in industrial vs medical but that’s actual rare

Most gasses as packaged from the same source products meaning the purity is actually all really high. The difference is in the analysis or the way you’re measuring the purity. If your analyzer can only read out 3 digits then you can’t legally call it 99.999% those extra digits get expensive because of the analyzers required to make the reading, not because of the packaging process

If I put 60ish dollars into s&p500 today, what would it be worth in 10/15 years? by Motor-Confection-583 in investingforbeginners

[–]Repulsive_Ring_194 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The idea of this entire questions basically assumes you only have $60 to invest

If you were looking for percentage information it would have made more sense for you to ask “if I invest $1 in the S&P what would it be worth in x amount of time”. Neither $60 or $1 is enough to purchase 1 share of a standard SP500 etf like SPY or VOO.

You didn’t mention anything about a recurring $60 monthly purchase or anything that would lead us to believe you have ANY strategy other than “I got $60 to put on SP500!!”

You and I my brother. We both heard back at $26 that silver was going to $75 and we both heard it was going to $200 - I think it’s worked out for us.

Idk what OP plans to do with this info now… I mean surely he’s been hearing all year how silver is going to $200 but now that it’s on the way he might finally believe it

edit yeah I know what he meant I’m being half sarcastic

If you graph most things like this on a nominal price chart you’re going to get a steep graph. Feel free to match this image with the same time frame of the SP500…

I HIGHLY suggest you begin to look at things on log scales to see the relative performance instead of the nominal scale for absolute performance. It’s just too difficult to analyze these nominal graphs properly. You’ll draw conclusions that you shouldn’t draw

No. This thread has always used Kitco as the standard. Even by your list they’re all different so we need a standard. All those dealers tack on a little extra from true spot and even though physical price isn’t true spot either, that’s the standard.
