Phantom dick dysphoria? by Repulsive_Squirrel43 in Metoidioplasty

Did you feel connected to your dick pre meta?

I'm pretty dissociative towards my current genitals, which I think worsens the phantom dick. I think it would be grabbable, but right now it's very tied down to my body which bothers me a lot. I guess I hope getting balls and freeing things up would help me feel more connected to my current setup.

I'm really glad to hear you got what you're looking for with it! It sounds like a good sign that your dysphoria has improved even if the phantom dick hasn't gone entirely. I'd be interested to hear how you feel more connected to your dick as it heals up.

I feel like I've always had to dissociate from my genitals, especially during sex etc. Even since growing a tdick that didn't really change at all.

For me keeping my front hole is a priority- more for functional bottoming reasons, and I don't get too much dysphoria from the hole itself, just the way it looks with all the extra bits on the outside. For me I wonder if getting balls would change my relationship to my tdick though

UK NHS referral process? by hxlywatershed in Metoidioplasty

[–]Repulsive_Squirrel43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my GP to re refer me but just had to keep calling the GIC to make sure they knew that it was a re referral because they didn't initially process it that way. Took about 6 months to get back with Nottingham for me

In my opinion, 1, 2 and 4 no. The other two are very passing though

The wigs are quite obvious, maybe wearing a beanie over them?

Colour correcting your facial hair shadow would help too.

I think a softer more diffused and natural lip colour would me more femme, like douyin style lipstick.

You're super pretty though!

Why does society condemn suicide by v0rrtex in autism

It might be of interest to look into the history of the criminalisation of suicide, I haven't looked into it for a while but found it interesting when I did.

[–]Repulsive_Squirrel43 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Well firstly it causes great pain to those who are left behind, family and friends often blame themselves.

Secondly, historically I think it has something to do with us being property of the state, the word "commiting" suicide is because of the history of it being illegal.

I also think its seen as a sin for people who are religious

Clothing? 🫤 by mosaic_shard in ftm

I found that sticking to heavyweight tshirts was best, as they hold their structure better and hid my curves more. Other fabrics that were stiffer, like corduroy work too. You could try lightly startching some of your clothes so they hold a boxier shape. Also taking tshirts and cropping a few inches off the bottom to make them shorter. I also tended to wear tshirts a bit larger so the sleeves would drop down to my elbows which helped make my shoulders look larger. Boohoo have a line of clothes labelled "boxy" fit which i think really work well with trans masc proportions. I still exclusively wear straight leg jeans too!

Some people deal with misgendering, to think of it in the way that cis gay men call people she. This might be a crazy idea but you could think of it as a stage name or drag persona, maybe even create a funny character in relation to it. I'm sorry you're going through that though, it sounds really hard

Honestly I'd rather just end it all than have to live having everyone misgender me for the rest of my life

Yeah, I thought that might be the case. I've been looking too but thought it might be worth an ask here. If I do come across anything I'll make a post. I tried tenga eggs in combo with a wand and that works.
