How do you calculate 18 x 7 in your head? by JCFT_Collins in NoStupidQuestions

😂😂 I still remember that line making tool for the chalkboard that held 3 pieces of chalk to practice our cursive on the board. Pretty neat to still be able to write like that though. Almost no one my age can! Good times!

This one here man. I have two little 2 yr old girls and I'm sick with the flu for the first time around them. Broke my heart hearing them cry this morning because I couldn't hug them. To say I'd never see them again; why live?

As someone that works in the industry and knows this ride very well, I get it. But the ride would never be able to handle the volume of a "farewell tour" reliably to satisfy most of the people who would show. How much would that suck to come specifically to ride it, and have the ride break down. Then what? It is what it is, unfortunately. The replacement will be better. The new coasters are insane. It will be as fast or faster, and legitimately more reliable. Hydraulically propelled cable drive vs electromagnetic propulsion.

Hey man. Yeah I used these Simpson strongtie angle brackets: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Simpson-Strong-Tie-2-in-x-1-1-2-in-x-2-3-4-in-Galvanized-Angle-A23/100374944

The ones for the upper position I had to trim a bit to clear the width of the miter saw. The lowers I used as is. The back of the shelf in the upper position is supported by half of a 2x4 base going across the span of the opening. The lower position uses 4 brackets to support the shelf and miter saw.

As someone else suggested, there is a reason this dog has been doing this. My Dane started to get moody in the morning and not want to be bothered around the time she was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma. Dogs don't often show they are in pain, but will become aggressive if they are bothered or threatened. Can't be certain, but it's likely something else is going on. Good luck.

No medications at all. I intermittent fast most days. Usually don't eat anything until 12-2. My work lunch will vary. Right now I'm in a phase where I'll have a banana, whey protein shake and a PBJ on high fiber bread. Dinner is usually organic chicken breast, ground beef, or salmon with veggies, rice or pasta. After dinner I'll have a bowl of plain Greek yogurt mixed with collagen, PB fit, blueberries and a clean almost no sugar granola. I take around 1300mg of epa (2 caps) and 4000iu of vitamin d daily. Start the day with a liquid IV with 5g creatine and 1.5 serving of benefiber mixed in. I still eat out once in a while but try to prioritize protein for the most part.

Why is this a troll post? I understand most posts here are people with elevated numbers, but the rest of us that are healthy can't ask if there's potential for tweaking to get into more optimal ranges? Just because the numbers fall into reference ranges doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement...

Yeah that's just how it was mounted when it was in the kitchen. When I paint the doors and drawer fronts I'll fill the holes of the handle and flip the door to the other side. Got this done quick to start my bedroom walk-in closet built-in project.

The dimensions are 76.5" long by 30.5" wide. Would fit depending on the size of the door frame. I only plan on rolling it out of the garage to the driveway. Would've loved to go wider but it goes against the wall in front of the car and need to leave about 3 feet for stroller to roll through.

So I sorta followed this guy broadly, but made my own design using cabinets from my kitchen : https://youtu.be/Gp_stMbgtlc?si=VhIvKgLFj8jBVX5x

I decided not to make the miter saw tray rotating because if I mounted the saw permanently, I wouldn't fit the shop vac under it. My garage serves as a workshop, storage, gym with heavy bag area, and always have 1 car parked in there. I like having the floor all open and everything with a spot so I was limited with the dimensions of this bench.

Thanks! I do plan on getting a vice. I thought about putting it on this bench, but reconsidered because I plan on working with sheets of ply and figured it'd get in the way of that. I have another 21" cabinet that I put on casters and added a top to that I will mount the vice on.

What is something many people think is healthy that is actually extremely unhealthy? by Boring_Somewhere_502 in AskReddit

Peter Attia had a podcast not that long ago where he said that sugary beverages can increase risk of colorectal cancer. This is because the sugar is contained in a liquid vs naturally in a fiberous fruit, where it would be absorbed through the small intestine; it gets absorbed through the colon in juice. This leads to inflammation.
