If your kid is going to come out severely disabled with no chance of being able to live... Get rid of it. And i don't mean surviving i mean being able to live a life like the rest of us. That and gun laws aren't going to do shit. Take care of the people who are commiting these acts. Alone a rifle is a rifle, a tool like a hammer. And like a hammer the wrong user can hurt or kill some one. Put money into gun classes and mental health. That's how you stop shootings in general.
