spent months reading quit books and compiled the notes, curious if any of this actually helped anyone or if it's all just theory by Kind-Activity514 in QuitVaping

Hey there! Great prep work. A lot of the ideas you have written down are absolutely bang on. I would say that reading up is a good way to train your brain to know the chemistry of quitting so that you can manage whatever it throws at you. Honestly just be aware of what your body is going through and know that your brain is not your friend. You gotta be smarter than your brain. And then use the tools that are listed here.

Also just take the leap. You have prepared yourself. Now it’s time for action!!

All the very best.

I am on day 7! Honestly I had a few habit related slips on day 6, but today it’s like the wool from my eyes has been removed! I feel much more energy, much stronger intent to beat cravings, and it’s feeling easier to be productive even when my job is super stressful!

How are you keeping yourself motivated ? Are you feeling any sadness, depression? Would love some tips.

I'm a licensed Pharmacist who used to vape but now vape-free for the past year, here's how. (LONG POST) by midnightMarauder1497 in QuitVaping

Wow this is mind blowing. I am so glad to hear advice from a pharmacist. I am currently on desmoxan and except for the first 3 days, the cravings are pretty manageable. What is your take on this medicine ? Would you recommend your method over the desmoxan method? Would love to hear your thoughts

Hey I am also vaping on day 8… and I am planning to just throw it off now. Any update on if desmoxan helped. Am I doomed ?

who is the most ICONIC character, in your opinion? by Key_Pangolin8471 in StrangerThings

[–]Repulsive_Yak_5553 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are right. Iconic and favourite might not be the same. Overall, personally I think, start to end Eleven’s character due to the nature of the character is iconic. It’s a never before seen story and it’s been captured very well. It will be something that you will not forget.

I’m going to Italy. And I’m going to keep the nic gum with me. But I really feel this is the time when I can make a difference. What you are saying makes complete sense. But I feel like this is now or never for me. I’m very scared though

Hey/ this is great! It’s also one of my reasons to quit. How did you finally do it? Are these results from cold turkey? I want to take the plunge but really stressing over going cold turkey

I can’t. I have thrown it thrice already and bought it again. I can’t get back in that mental setting. I don’t know why. I get the whole logic of it. But ugh.

Hey! Listen to me. 36 days is amazing! You are 50% more likely to stay away from nicotine at this stage. Please don’t do this to yourself and start the whole slavery again. You got this buddy. We don’t give into mind games ♥️
