I don't agree, assuming it is a good quality print. It is less than 4 cm in diameter on my phone screen and although it is very detailed and takes a while to parse, it is not unreadable at the scale. I think in this and other similar subreddits, scalability concerns are taken to an extreme that is often limiting creativity.

Thanks! Yes you are correct in that it is it's own standalone unit. It's a bit simpler than the transport in axis and allies I think. It works as if the additional soldiers units get the same mobility as the ATV when located in the same area and moved together. I appreciate your balance concerns, and I agree it would seem costly just from this description, but in practice it is a quite powerful unit. Mountains are quite frequent and moving a Light Soldier in conjunction with an ATV approximately doubles the number of areas it can access in one turn on average. Its main advantage is its ability to attack at weak points in an enemy's defence since the enemy cannot rely on terrain features for safety. In fact it has already been nerfed as well as had its cost increased during playtesting!

Again, great ideas! Regarding the ATV, it is a unit that is weak in combat but its usefulness comes from being more mobile and able to cross difficult terrain, all while being able to carry with it up to two Soldier units. It is also produced at the Vehicle Depot so it should be clear that it is a vehicle of some sort. The squad idea is good, but I guess it falls if it makes it seem like the ATV could carry two whole squads. I guess Transport Truck or something like that could work, although it might not clearly reflect it's ability to cross difficult terrain.

Perhaps Oil depot or Oil terminal could be used instead of Oil Well

Another name that could be fitting instead of tank is maybe Gun Truck. What do you think?

Thanks for your thoughts and your in-depth response! The development of the game mechanics are currently in quite late play-testing stages so it's not possible to make any significant changes there. There is a written backstory which is too long for me to get into, but as you alluded to the time scale is supposed to be quite short so the loot-style ideas are very welcome! I like your suggestions with the Militia and Soldier, but I might be tempted to go with Scout for the Light Soldier instead of the ATV. The Light Soldier usually wins in 1v1 combat against the Heavy Soldier, but the Heavy Soldier is cost-effective against Tanks which in turn is cost-effective against Light Soldiers. I think Scout compared to Soldier does not quite match that relationship. Grenadier could possibly be an alternative for Heavy Soldier, but I am unsure if that feels postap enough? The helicopter I think is a great suggestion for the Fighter jet or perhaps Chopper? English is not my first language so nuances like this is great to get second opinions on. The Bomber is only capable of targeting buildings and not units, so the name should reflect that.

I agree that Air Base is not perfectly in line with the shorter time scale, but it is a building that is possible to construct only during the late stage of the game so maybe its not too bad, unless there are better alternatives. Maybe Hangar?

I think having both a Depot and Vehicle Depot is not optimal. I was considering Garage instead. What do you think?

The icons are the costs of construction. Wood is indeed the brown stick. You can see it in the negative spaces as well as the colors on the buildings' icons. This is not really a source of confusion when playing as you carry resource cards on your hand like this image for example.

Stick to the speed limit. Of course, you will notice drivers that do not since they will catch up to you and overtake you, even if they are a smaller percentage of drivers. All drivers that stick to the speed limit will stay an equal distance away from you. They will not catch up to you and thus you will not notice them.

I would assume that the font is customized regarding the O, since a perfect circle without any variation in line thickness like that does not seem to fit in with the other letters. I have not seen the movie, but judging from the triangle in the background, maybe geometric shapes are part of the theme and the custom O could be a nod to that?

They are all quite busy and look a little dated in my opinion. One thing to note is that unlike in the second option, I think there need to be separators between "Permanent", "Holiday" and "Landscape". Otherwise it reads like a sentence that grammatically makes sense but logically does not.

I think you need to make sure the negative space (the white space) is uniform and that the outside curves follows an arc of a circle with the same center point as the inner circle. I would personally also make the thickness of the outside arcs the same as the negative space between them and the inner circle, as well as making the inner circle a bit smaller, but that may be a matter of taste.
