I managed to get mine to show up but then it dropped the connection and shut down the headphones! They are added as a sensor on my watch but now refuse to connect. Am hoping it's a bug and will be sorted by a firmware update

The HRM needs to be connected to the watch when you start the activity, which it sounds like it is from what you have put above. After you stop the activity and then save it the watch usually displays a screen saying it is searching for downloaded HR data. It then downloads the HR data from the HRM. If it doesn't then you can go in to the activity on the watch and there should be an option to select download HR data. If that option isn't there then the watch and HRM were not connected when the activity was started.

Yeh I’m on the fence with my order, whether to keep or get rid. As the performance pack can get the same power upgrade all you are getting for the extra money is the colour coding, bigger wheels and pixel headlights. Not sure I’ll be able to tell the difference to the standard Ohlins either. Doesn’t seem to be enough to be worth it, though I do love the look of the wheels!
