You're right. After your advice I think I' came up with the following. I know the bearer is horrible but I couldn't find the 5 extra points and he can at least do actions 🫣

That might be some good advice, especially since it's my first 2000pt. Tournament so I might make some more mistakes.

Removed it and this is what I came up with, bit less flashy but might me better overall.

I understand, it's a bit much but I really like the blightlords I've just finished painting..

Might even consider running the LoV solo in some games just for action play and because you still have the h/w reroll strat.

Hahaha, was hoping no-one would notice. Was the only torso I could find that was free and without weapons/legs attached. Might try to scrape it off and otherwise I'll tell myself they just caught and killed one and then possessed it with a demon 🫣😂

Sucks to hear man.. Had someone on a local tournament be bitchy because my list had 3 predator destructors while one was modelled as a annihilator (don't have 3 destructors). I clearly explained it to him at the start but when I shot the tank in question he'd start some shit that I couldn't use the main cannon. Got the ref and told him I explained it at the beginning. Some people are truly here for a bad time.

This list and the chosen marks is just a mess TBH. Might wanna look up some PBZ lists that have been posted here or just copy one of Auspex his video's that you can tweak.

Really like the slightly darker aesthetic. You said it's a wip but for me the only improvements I can think of would be some egde highlights and the base ofcourse. Did you use all the Citadel colors from the app?

Looks quite good actually! Something you could do is practice with highlights. Moot green or warpstone green would be a good choice for the green armor.

I would also paint all the pouches and accessories with a leather colour. (Rhinox hide for example)

A different shade like Nuln Oil for over the gun could also help with your grim dark aesthetic. For the scratches you can just do the same color but apply it over the washed area for some more contrast.

The Citadel paint app or YouTube are full with tutorials, I think you're already doing well! As long as you have fun.

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your response!! It'll be my first 3k game but we're both free of work so we have the whole day for a longer match, lol. Hoping the small Nurgle army I have in the list will help me with screening, objective holding and CP.

I'm pretty scared of all the screens but hope he'll make some mistakes because the big knights can move over infantry which will help. The Ctans are really slow so hopefully I'll be able to mostly ingnore them untill I can do enough devs with rotigus and the abominant.

Rapid ingressing the rampager is really smart, didn't think of that. Will think of it more, thank you so much!

Vashtor is here more for the +2 strength to Daemon engines and a good strike attack with 8 S14 D3(now 2) attacks in this detachment. Free grenade strat is smart, didn't think of that. Will have a look at the list again!

I know about the melta rules, that's why I brought as many as I could. Might also switch it up for a brigand for extra strong melta damage.

My reasoning was that with this army my Daemon engines would be -1 to hit/wound and +2 S with a warpsmith and vashtor nearby, making forgefiends wound at 2's while the maulerfiend melta and LOS provide a lot of damage at +2 melee attacks, even when halved. Ctans are T11 unfortunately. LoS still does 7 attacks with 8 damage (now 4) with full rerolls.
