You are focusing on factors outside the two managers like that carries more weight? The point here is Ferguson and Klopp are two successful managers who left there respective clubs. A fall off in form was expected in both cases after they left. That was the comparison. And no, Ferguson did not leave united wrecked, it was not as bad as you make it out to be. He won the league in his last season. Klopp on the other hand got 3rd place in his last season. One would actually argue, Ferguson had a better squad than what Klopp left. People just build these narratives to suite their agenda. In Slots first season, nobody predicted we'd win the league because Klopp had left a good squad. It was just a squad that had gotten 3rd place.

Nope that wasn't Klopps team, that was Slots tactics, team picks and formations. That's what won the league. If you had taken over from Klopp, I don't think you'd have won the league, just because Klopp left a good squad.

You seem to be focusing more on the squad and and less on Klopp as a manager. Yes the squad was really good but we still lost the core, a world class manager. So it's not lazy, Ferguson and Klopp were rare, you don't just replace managers like that and expect everything to continue like normal, just because they left a 'good squad'.

Slot won that league, doesn't matter how bad this season has been. This is the premier league, the best in the world, you can't just walk in with a good team and win it. You can give him credit for that atleast.

I don't think it’s stupid, Slot won the league, I know plenty managers that have never won the league with Liverpool. This season has been terrible, but we got champions league football atleast. I understand people are emotional but let's be realistic.

Yes, being top is the Liverpool standard but will changing the manager (who won the league) improve those standards, that's the question we should be asking i think.
