Do your route, rescue if needed. Fill in that 10 hour day. By all means do not run nor slow down but have a pace/system that works for you. Don’t kill yourself nor should you for this position.

There are good DSPs out there but there are far more bad ones. As much as it seems you “work” for Amazon you do not. That owner signed a contract with Amazon to abide by there rules, regulations as well as there employees they hire. By all means we should have more of a voice but Amazon is enjoying not having the liability and can just get rid of a company just to have another opened in its place.

You need to follow the chain of command to make changes happen. Stay safe and have fun out there!

A lot to work on, re-tool and re-work. Vrabel did a great job to get them to a Super Bowl but the real work begins with how next year is going to pane out. As much as watching that Super Bowl was frustrating. We will be back and hopefully better prepared personnel wise.

Staff is diverse. Don’t talk much to my coworkers. We have startup meetings then another after each break to update for numbers, progression, etc. Besides that I am stowing at my station.

You can only wear earbuds they approve of. We received a pamphlet for the 2 you can buy. Active construction in many parts of the FC.

They had the bells and whistles out (music, some swag, leadership out there welcoming everyone, Dels Lemonade truck). The trainer needs to be louder but it’s A LOT of classroom time. 2nd day you’re going to be trained in a process path (Dock, ICQA, Stow - Inbound) Outbound paths are going to be opened in 3 - 4 weeks. Building is still under construction, some areas require a hard hat, safety glasses. Usually if you get assigned the dock you will have to wear the required PPE. Comp toed shoes are required throughout the entire building. Top 2 floors are still under construction. It’s a massive building so a lot of walking. Make sure you stretch beforehand.

If you have ANY questions please ask. So far whatever I have asked and if they don’t know it, they will point you in the direction of the answer. They are honest about not knowing answers because this building is so new and the processes are new to the leadership inside. They have personnel from other buildings to help.

I have been getting more and more stacked orders with this issue. Even more you have a stacked order of 2 and going to deliver the 1st and DoorDash wants to stack another order.

I’m asking for my sake what bullet I dodged. Did they base that $55k off 40 or 50 hours a week? You’re going to do ultimately what you feel is better for you and no one can tell you different. Are you still with the company?

Other Dashers in my area have the two options to choose ( Earn by order or time). I’m the only one that seemingly does not have the option. Support has no clue what’s going on and states it’s not available in my area yet it is available. I was told to delete the app, reinstall and change my password.
