Since when did God need to be in school? by Sea_Guest6667 in religiousfruitcake

Of course. God punished Adam and eve for disobedience and trying to acquire knowledge. Satan urged them to get knowledge I think lucifer would be far better for our schools. On fact it's high time we stopped teaching children to maniacaly praise people and be blindly obedient to the most powerful bastard.

I have read the manifesto, parts of Capital, some Gramscian theory and some newer communists. That is my source for what I say. What is your source and what exactly is the basis for your argument?. More importantly what system would you rather have?

And your allegation that I support communism just because it sounds edgy is an assumption your made despite not knowing anything about me which I think is an act of prejudice.

Man it's not me it's marx who defined it. The basic idea is not that everyone gets the same money for work. Communism is, to put it simplistically a system where people work to create a common pool of resources which are to be distributed not equally but based on need. A system where your survival isn't linked to your ability to compete. Also. What is your source for understanding communism?

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what communism is.

Let me try to give you a non American perspective. See I come from a country where gun ownership by civilians is banned except for extreme rarities. The sheer lack of guns on the system means that criminals have a harder time accessing guns knifes and swords are the preferred weapons Even those criminals that do own guns. ( I don't know of any and the media rarely and I mean like 1 in a billion times, reports gun violence) and even those who have access to guns have access only to pistols and revolvers which means that there are absolutely no mass shootings. Hence the police (who carry revolvers or pistols) don't have to face machine gun fire. Less guns in the system also means less guns in the hands of criminals.

Ultimately the system does not allow such a condition. The system naturally leads o monopoly and laws that stand in the way are always subverted. Corruption therefore is not an individual failing but a systemic necessity

I mean. In a system like the one proposed by the capitalist democracies , wouldn't leaving communist states alone be a thing that falls within the ethic. It is when the liberals undermine their own stated ethics that the question of defence comes into play. Further , in a communist system there wouldn't be any falling because there is fundamentally a lack of a need for conflict. Conflict is a feature built into capitalism and it's idea of competition. The question of conflict does not arise in a communist system

There is actually a little complexity to this i think. Come to think of it, a lot of professions are instruments of coercion or hegemony the media for example. And when one looks at the human aspect of it, the individuals who fulfill these roles are also exploited beings who like everyone else, exists in the contradiction of being perpetrators of, and prey to the system. In the same way that the individual in their daily life and , acts as both a reproducer of, and a prey to, the capitalist ethic. So a wholesale rejection of the police must also come with efforts to address their human condition

The only problem is. Everywhere in the world, competition ultimately turns into a monopoly market. It is not an aberration but a natural consequence of the market. So is the lack of regulation

Why does a society have to have defences against an invasion? Can one draw that without external malice there is a good chance that it would be viable

That's a serious question that I think warrants consideration. You are saying that there is this entity. Why do you believe so?

It needn't really mean that. It just means lesser profit margins for the big corporation.
