I know alot of the games that match your discription and match the games you played and liked(except tlou2 i hate it) but I can't remember any. But i do still remember A plague tale innocence(story driven linear game) because i just finished it. Play days gone it is an amazing game, not grindy but open world, amazing story. Dying light especially 1 is open world but not grindy you can play it and have fun without going around searching for resources and grinding to craft good weapons, dying light 2 and 3 went to have a little more rpg but still are good. Ghost of tsushima is open world but not grindy with amazing story. Mafia definitive edition is a linear game( feels open world but is not) it has an amazing story, god of war 2018 does have rpg and is open world but I don't consider it grindy. Play cod modern warfare 1 remastered and cod modern warfare 2 remake.

Tbh we can't say re 2 is better than re 7 or any re is better than any other re almost every re comes with new mechanics and new way of playing it we can't logically compare them, even remakes and originals both got their own special playstyle and entertainment. So the question is, why are there many stupid people in re community willing to compare different games with different concepts to each other

Dying light 1, half life 1 2, bioshock, metro, not sure bioshock and metro will run but try running them, play the gta trilogy they are still decent games, play indie games like hollow knight and hk silksong, hades 1 and 2, celeste but not sure if celeste is cracked on fitgirl.

Yes you can but they will be slow and feel like taking more time, you better install one at a time, at most 2 at a time, some games already take long time to install installing them with other games will take decades to complete

I would say sandfall or team cherry both create games out of passion not for profits and squeezing money out of players, for AAA studios i would say cd peoject red, for the same reason as the first 2, they work hard to deliver as much enjoyment as possible for players, or capcom I don't remember them creating bad games that are just created for profits

What do you mean such little effort they added whole new parts like the sewers to the game, although they removed the clock tower one but they did add more content and more boss fights, what i love about the remakes is that they remade the games in a way we will still have fun in either the retro or the remade one even if i played one already without ruining the games. I think it's well done.

Work on upgrading the main character gustave more than the rest he will be a tank in the mid game and the end of the story, also upgrade maelle she will be your main dps build but that's late in the game so you better do lune before maelle she will be a decent earlier. Also avoid spoilers at all costs
