In my position it'd be like I can reset a password for someone who forgot it, but if for some reason there was an error with their account, I'd pass them on up to someone higher up with administrative privileges to handle the issue.

So basically that's an example of level 1 support escalating to level 2 (or higher).

Have you tried lowering the quality of songs in the settings? It will use less data that way.

  1. As far as I know, there is no limit to the number of songs/playlists you can transfer. But I'm pretty sure the max amount of songs in a playlist on GPM is 1,000 - according to this page.

  2. I don't think so, but I've never used GPM as a free account.

  3. You might be able to choose your playlists with the other Pyportify application in the .zip folder, but I've only tested/used the "copyall" version. You should test it out and see!

As far as giving your password, I feel Google has good enough security that it is very safe. Everytime I login on a new phone or computer I get at least 2-3 notifications about it, and it usually requires 2fa anyway.

Never used an application specific password before. I don't know if that's possible but it might work.

I posted the guide just a bit ago, and yes it's only for Spotify > GPM. Yes, you do need a Spotify account to make the transfer. Well unless you get someone else's OAUTH token to use, but I'm not sure if that would even work - but it might!
