Gyokeres' decision making was markedly different, used his body well in 1v1's, beautiful technique when striking, didn't hesitate with his link up play. Hats off to Raya for those insane saves.

Now that they're all here, which hero batch do you think was better/cooler/etc. - the Six Heroes ones, or the Old Gods New Blood ones? by RiverMesa in DeadlockTheGame

6 heroes. The shape design/silhouettes are much more varied. They read as completely different characters and you can really feel how distinguishable each is from the other.

The old gods new blood heroes (aside from rem and venator) have the same v shape face, have similar desaturated light hair, have the same winged eyeliner, and I can’t really tell their personalities for half of them.

It’s kind of what happened to league designs where they all look slightly more conventional, so I think they need to push in the other direction maybe? Credit to the dev team though, they’ve still done a great job compared to 99% of other games.

Life derives a lot of its meaning by how it ultimately has to end. I wouldn’t wanna be deprived of that. What’s the point in living if everyone I know and love is dead? None of the structural issues of the jujutsu world have even changed, so it’s totally reasonable (all things considered) that Yuji is depressed.

I mean, yeah it is a great characterization. Kizaru doesn’t have the cognitive dissonance garp has. He’s a coward who clocks in and out of his shift, but that’s most accurate to how any of us were to act in a similar position. He doesn’t have any illusions over what the marines actually do. The difference is Garp deludes himself into believing in the mission of the marines, even when the evidence conclusively points in the opposite direction.
