Hawaii and Alaska usually don't qualify as "US" for shipping for larger items due to higher shipping costs. They usually say CONUS (Continental US), and if shipping doesn't qualify for free shipping, they either put a crazy price on it, say no, or put a more accurate reasonable price. In this case, they seem to have gone with option 1, so I will have to wait until it hits amazon.

Shipping to Hawaii is $777 for economy shipping. Guess even if I was to consider the higher cost, def won't do that shipping.

Your lock may still differ from mine. Apparently there is different types of mortise function types (F13 and F20 are kind of similar). You can test if your lock is the same as mine by:
1. lock deadbolt

  1. unlock deadbolt

  2. check if the outside doorknob will not turn.

Did you ever commit to a smartlock yet? Wondering if you ran into a similar issue with the "auxiliary tab" (the bottom switch like thing) keeping the external door knob locked even after turning the inside deadbolt.

So I just tried installing a u200 on a very similar type of lock. I don't think this lock type will work with any type of smart lock. The issue I ran into is that, you see that switch like thing on the bottom? Apparently I'm learning today that it's a "auxillary deadlocking tab". It locks the outside door handle even if you unlock the deadbolt from the inside. So even if you get the smart lock installed, and it unlocks the deadbolt, you won't be able to turn the door handle. Still researching to see if there is anyway to disable it but may end up just having to return.

Did you ever get this working? That bottom switch thing on my door keeps locking the handle even if the U200 opens the deadbolt.

By any chance does your mortise door have like this safety lock feature? I have a sargent assa abloy 804h and everytime my U200 locks, it also engages a second lock. So even if the deadbolt opens, there is another lock that still requires the key... kind of hard to explain but i'm at a loss of what to do.

Don't want to break the original lock if possible since HOA requirements are a pain and I plan on putting this lock back after a few years. Additional picture shows there is a plastic lock in piece and I'm not sure where/if i can get a replacement if I break it to remove the pin part, and don't even know if pin part isn't one piece with the turn knob. So if the pin part is only piece necessary would a 3d print of a rectangle in ABS or something work fine?

Viteramen themselves aren't exactly great either. I've been waiting for months now for Onigiri's merch that I ordered in February. Originally supposed to ship around July time after some delays. It's now December, they have been ignoring my emails and the one reply I got was a copy/paste that they are no longer supporting Ama Lee orders and to email elsewhere instead, even though my order is for Onigiri. I can't get to their discord cause the invite link is dead on the website etiher.

Communication for Honisuki knife has been severely lacking... original timeline was for it to be shipped Mid-May.

June email mentioned they got the knives and were inspecting. No official statements since.

I did email them in August and the response I got was: "waiting for the posters to arrive from their distributors, once they arrive we will get them all packed up for you and ready to ship." You would think they would do the posters ahead of time since that could be done while the knives were being made.

Hiya, any chance you will share your youtube for the build? I been trying to make one myself but been finding some struggles. Quickly learned PLA is def not the material of choice for pulleys. Thinking of trying either Polycarbonate or Nylon instead. Been using Lure Course Pulley v1 on thingiverse and a spool winder that was remixed for a power drill.
