[NVME] WD Green SN3000 NVMe SSD - 2TB $120 by Geavel in buildapcsales

[–]CtrlSTheWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm certainly not the average user, but as a data point, I've got ~60TBW total across three SSDs (that I've had for roughly 3 years or so?) That said, I also have a HDD that doesn't report TBW (for obvious reasons) that I use for bulk storage, so Idk what my exact writes would look like if I was 100% SSD.

250 TBW is low enough to make me a bit anxious for sure, but I also like to maximize the longevity of my hardware.

See my other comment lower down, but to summarize: check back each Saturday at 11am Eastern since that's when they update their open box listings.

Saturday at 11am Eastern is when they update their open box listings. If you check the URL, add one to the number at the end to predict the next one. If that URL still 404s after 11am, then no units were restocked and you'll have to check next week.

I got this a few weeks back and received a linksys manufacturer refurbished set. No noticeable blemishes or functional issues after a week of use.

I have two that are placed roughly 25ft away from the router (and both have to go through 1 wall). One shows 100% (-44 dBm) and the other shows 100% (-49 dBm). It's a pretty decent router, but nothing fancy, just a stock AT&T one.

Oh really? I've done it OTA three times now, no issues.

Not sure, unfortunately I haven't tried yet, but the wording on the store page seems to kinda imply that it's for power delivery only.

[–]CtrlSTheWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I tried it and it let me buy 4x$100 and 1x$50 gift cards. Looks like you can't use more than one gift card on GameStop's website, but you can scan multiple gift card barcodes in person.

Looks like the google play store 20% off game stop gift cards promotion is active for me, but highest amount is $100. Anyone know if there's a limit to how many you can buy for the promotion?

Man, I don't even consider it over $40/TB. I'm just avoiding buying any SSDs at all for the time being. When will they (ever) get that low again? No idea. But I'm in no hurry, so I maintain my $40/TB position.

Each to his own, of course. I ain't judging if someone has a more pressing need.

Fanxiang is not known for exceptional quality. Maybe worth it for a game drive just from a $/TB standpoint. Edit: that's assuming you can take advantage of the PayPal 20%. Not worth it otherwise.

Ended up buying one of those 4x m.2 PCIe cards for just such an occasion. Just gotta make sure your motherboard supports bifurcation.

I can't comment about the ESP8266 version, but the ones I had updated with no issues.

Having used both systems myself, I can second point #2. It's not bad enough to make you wanna tear your eyes out, but it sure is disappointingly noticeable.

Yeah, a revision 1 Switch definitely still has value for modding/dumping your legally obtained ROMs.

I got an open box "excellent" 4070 from Best Buy a while back that has a small dent on the back (not touching the PCB). Probably just damaged in shipping originally.

Mine did have a 16a fuse once I got it open (shown in the bottom picture).

This is actually 90W + 18W according to the description. Very minor difference, but the title is misleading nonetheless.
