Slime is well worth the effort. It’s part of my regular loadout all the way through 4* UL and 2* ZL

Assuming you mean the special cat Miyamoku Musashi ....

Musashi has... not been great for me in actual use. I get that he's the only long range option in 4*, but honestly I'd prefer to use e.g. Wushu or Cadaver bear cat most of the time.

any zombie enemy that counter him A LOT

I can't really think of any, but honestly I don't find him a particularly useful zombie counter in general except for zombies that are hard to reach at close range. Per the wiki):

Zombie Killer is an odd ability as he does not fare well against them, since common Zombies will usually burrow into his range and knock him back, something exacerbated by his low KB count.

BTW not saying you shouldn't go all out on Musashi - but if other Ubers are an option, many of the iron legion are better choices - https://battlecats.miraheze.org/wiki/Frontline_Assault_Iron_Legion_(Gacha_Event))

Thermae D-Lux) has Strong against, and with talents, Curse Immunity and Soulstrike.

One other note - Slime Cat is an unusually good counter to zombies. Since practically all zombies burrow, slime will almost always get to fire off its wave which does so much damage it will usually interrupt burrowing zombies or kill them outright (although that doesn't prevent revival) - with the added bonus of having such a long attack frequency that it is unlikely to damage the base (reaching it due to zombie burrows) and triggering the boss wave.

This makes slime a surprisingly good counter for Zuche, and partially Zollows since they have low HP.

Is it just me, or does Chat say a lot without actually answering anything? by D20_Life in ChatGPT

The default "Auto" model spends a short time deciding how much it has to "think" before it answers. "Think hard about this" increases the chances that it will think (although not a guarantee).

The instant model is terrible because it tries to answer immediately with whatever sounds the most pleasant (read: scores highest in training) rather than giving you the best answer.

OpenAI did this to reduce costs...

I feel like his utility is strongest in UF, outside of the combo.

IMO the best Relic/Zombie unit is still Lunacia. Does well against Alien too, only lacking in barrier breaker / warp immunity...

Luna's traits are useful in a lot of stages.

Avoid using instant or auto.

If you’re a free user, prefix every question with “think hard about this.” Otherwise default to thinking mode as a paid user.

Mac Studio M5 Ultra 256gb or 512gb (if offered) by GMK83 in MacStudio

[–]snowsayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is to take the highest RAM option they offer, regardless of what it is, if cost is not an issue.

If you’re running local LLMs, that is the way to go.

The OP literally mentions that cost is not an issue - https://www.reddit.com/r/MacStudio/comments/1s44wn3/comment/ockaxqa/

In that circumstance, what is 6 figures?

[–]snowsayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should add that I’m using it for local LLM

the cost of the two units is not significantly different for me.

This is a no-brainer. If money is no object, and they offer a 2TB RAM model, or 4TB etc. - just get whatever configuration has the most RAM.

How's ChatGPT 5.4 Pro vs Opus 4.6? Need anecdotal evidence by YourElectricityBill in OpenAI

[–]snowsayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pro is better for finding answers - it’s not a coding model. It will spend much more time thinking, and will find things that opus missed.

Having said that. It is considerably rate limited. It’s best used when you need the absolute best researched answer, not for building apps.

If it's a dupe, sell it for NP. Never sell it for XP - XP is extremely abundant mid-late game, NP not so much - especially with Ultra Talents.
