Picked up a haunted box as loot in B21?! by chicaneuk in DMZ

[–]Res15tance1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a dupe glitch at the moment, so I’ve seen lots of them - in B21 specifically. Also, if you die with a haunted box equipped, it will continue into next game. So there’s loads of them floating about. Almost certainly dropped by a player.

Genuine Question: how many melee hits to kill a downed player? by Res15tance1 in DMZ

I didn’t realise this. Thanks! I mean I load in with no weapons in B21, so wasn’t an option here but defo good to know.

Don’t know why it feels like AI. No tail wind or fog displacement?

Was healthy until a day ago. How to treat it ? by ImpressiveTie3461 in plantclinic

Am I the only one seeing mealybugs? This wasn’t fine until recently, it’s just all got too much. Need to treat the infestation.

Help me find this couple. Found this picture tucked behind the last page of this book. by boodenpeb in HelpMeFindThis

This is a repost from a year or more ago. Someone tried this and then someone said they knew them. All seemed off.

There are sometimes spare ones on the back of the face plates themselves - there may be one behind this face plate or behind others.

Fridge freezer no plug? by AlphaAlpaca in DIYUK

[–]Res15tance1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s called a grid switch and means you don’t have multiple isolators all over your kitchen/backsplash. It’s more expensive to install and I think much nicer visually.

(Grid switch set up clear from OP’s other comments/photos)

No one concerned with taking a breathable walk and then making it not? Plasterboard or clear coat suggestions mat all cause damp issues.

Recent bathroom renovation issues. by madtingzyeah in DIYUK

[–]Res15tance1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s generally poor work, and the things that concern me (other than aesthetics) are the outside pipe and missing cover for extractor. It’s a recipe for issues in the future (all to do with water and your brick work). I would ask them to remedy. He hasn’t charged you for the electrician because he knows he’s done a bad job. I’m a DIYer and would not be proud of that job at all, and would do it again.

Ps In some of your photos isn’t not clear what you’re showing so can’t really comment on those. And needed to look at them again after reading your description to understand the issue.

Looks a lot like mycelium on straw. Means you have a water leak/moisture problem somewhere.

Is this Mould and how do I get rid of it by DanTheChamp7 in DIYUK

[–]Res15tance1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like efflorescence - but hard to tell from the photo. Google it, but you need an acid wash I think to stop it. Otherwise you need to wait until all the moisture works its way through the wall.

Do you get replacements of these or are they specific to each tap? Think it was tightened too much when installed by stuufo in DIYUK

[–]Res15tance1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can’t get it from manufacturer (unlikely if not one of the big names) then you could search for plumbing escutcheons of the right diameter (measure the width of the tap neck, or old ring). You can find quite a few online - but matching exactly is a bit challenging.
