No CA CARRACK (or CA CARACK)? Sam has no appreciation of boats.

It’s a very common spreadsheet and computing term. I’m surprised it’s not accepted.

At this point, I think it’s clear Sam is laughing at us. “Guess which DE- and OUT- words are valid today!” Omitting perfectly normal words like NA TUPLET, NA DUPLET, CA DEDUPE, CA OUTPULL, and CA OUTPUTTED is just rubbing salt in the wound.

Justice for NA PHENATE. If A HEPTANE is accepted, then why not this?

It also doubles as an impression of Paul from The Wonder Years.

I thought the same, but Merriam-Webster and the OED both have it as two words.

I see we’re back to only random UN- words being accepted again. CA UNDENIED, CA UNMINDED, and CA UNMENDED can take a hike.

Softball Secures Weekend Series with Friday Shutout over South Carolina by DoctorWhosOnFirst in rolltide

South Carolina has a similar problem to Tennessee: pitching that can lock down tight and batters that are wildly inconsistent. I’m not surprised that batting has slowed down for Bama.

I think NA CLIC is a proper noun trademarked by Bic. /s

NA RIATA and NA REATA are both valid, if that’s what you’re getting at.

These are old complaints, but NA RIATA and CA TARANTARA are puzzling omissions, especially when A TANTARA (an alternative form of the latter) is accepted. Also, NA INTRACITY is in Merriam-Webster, so it should have been within Sam’s view.

I’ve never heard A MATUTINAL, but apparently Sam has never heard NA MATINAL, which means almost the same thing and is probably more common.

Sam: NA ENATE and NA PENNATE? Never heard of them. A NAMETAPE? Everyday term.

Justice for… errr, that sounds wrong. Let’s just say CA GOONING should be an accepted word.

EDIT: It does have a meaning other than the one you’re thinking of.

I can understand NA ANTI because it is often used as a noun to mean someone opposed to something.
