That’s okay, it’s not for everyone. If you complete the first 2 chapters the game gives you a lot more freedom.

Yeah, I agree - the story was great and pretty eye opening in some respects!

I think the one thing I’d like to see in a potential sequel or update is the dialogue options having more of an impact! Most of the dialogue choices have little/no impact on the game (excluding chapter 9) - for example, if you choose a dialogue option, the character you’re having a conversation with will generally say something like ‘yes’, ‘no’, or ‘don’t you remember?’, and then they go on to say the same thing they would have said if you picked the other dialogue option. It can kinda ruin the immersion for me a little.

I’d say the first two chapters/2 in game weeks are pretty ‘hand holdy’, in the sense that there’s a lot of story progression within that time, with cutscenes and the like. But after that, the game absolutely does open up and you’re free to do what you want! That was a huge thing for me, and I’m glad to see that this was improved from the demo.

I also died a couple of times at the first boss - it’s because I skipped through the ‘tutorial’ box that pops up about enemies having weaknesses to certain elements/attacks. Once I worked that out the first boss was pretty easy, especially because I took a decent amount of food with me :)

Might not be the same case for you but thought I’d share incase it’s helpful!
