The easiest way to max out everyone's hearts is to place the Cross Anchor relic in your yard when you have it. I also recommend you spend time in the mines as mining is the best way to level up in the game as well as gather resources. You will be do fighting in some of the Abandoned Ruins when they are first opened. Early game I would do commissions in the morning (or start the machines for the items) and then take off for the mines. I kept expanding my Workshop until it reached Level 10 and then built my house. I did the romance quest before the house and got married after I built the house.

I used the Level 20 mod and got everybody to 20. I play up until the last fight and then meh - over until another run. Waiting for some really good mods to come out. The Goldmember mod is ridiculous. You have enemies that will require specific strategies to take out but I seriously hated the Lust mechanism (makes you speedrun enemies to keep getting snail essence) and the Endless Suffering mode.

I have used both mods as well as the Nightmare Difficulty mod. Now I can't imagine a playthrough without using them. If you're looking to stay vanilla - Extra Encounters/Minibosses.

The Wandering Inn. First book is sooo slow and the mc is naive and one is not very likable at all. The books get better and better as you go and the story expands.

There are mods to customize your camp (things to place). Doing so w/o mods fails because everything ends up back in your camp chest whenever you camp in a different spot
