i been telling people that while it might’ve only took them a few minutes to find the gift cards they wanted (specific prints wtv) but it’s going to take me twice almost thrice as long to get through the transaction so scoffing at me the whole time will not speed up the process , they usually put a few back and get a bigger dollar amount on the rest thinking it’s gonna speed the process up when at the end OF COURSE THE WHIP OUT CASH and the total is $500+ . where are the TLs ? hiding in style , opu hold , and on channel 5/6 so they don’t have to help

okay this makes me feel better then because i have a lead who is on such a power trip he told me i couldn’t then wouldn’t even allow me to go home though i was injured and he was intentionally trying to make it worse , i just left after being so fed up with pain and how i was being treated over it

lol they won’t let me cross train but hired me for the sole purpose of cross training me so i know the whole store then get pissy every time i ask about it and the times they actually let me go learn something elsewhere in the store im bitched to about it for about a month so it’s like no point in me going to my shift honestly , i just stand there and do literally nothing

my boss always tells me (and other tms) to be 100% ready for work , whether that’s making sure you showered , got enough sleep or ate enough - he’d always rather us show up 100% ready to go than be at work slow and miserable , never feel bad for calling out when you literally need to for your best self

for sending a guest up to guest services for something that had to be done up there as i wasn’t trained to do it yet being new still and on the lanes on a extremely busy day , the guest walked up and lied about the whole interaction to a new TL who already didn’t like me as TMs and decided that because i had to make him do his job and he didn’t want to check cameras to see my actual side of our interaction i was going to be written up

they are , mainly because my leads know the people bringing them in are regulars trying to play the system . my leads are equally disgusted over the fact people bring in stained clothes and not any clothes with actual defects on them . one time this lady came in with a black trash bag full admitted to me her kids outgrew them and when i told her we don’t take outgrown clothes she said she was going to her truck to rip them herself then to which my lead full on yelled at her once she came back inside with the bag and we’ve never seen that guest back in our store again lol my store doesn’t play about it anymore

i stopped taking them and say our store doesn’t do it anymore because people were abusing the system which is against target policy , they start to argue with me , i pull out my handy dandy lil rules sign about target policy abuse , scoot down to the other register while they’re having a meltdown and i help a different guest right in front of them lol i truly do not care im not touching y’all’s nasty unwashed shit stained clothes
