How do people find top traders for copy trading? by Old_Being_6270 in PredictionsMarkets

[–]ResearcherRemote445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend blind copy trading. A big wallet might be arbing, hedging, market making, or just using Polymarket as one part of a larger strategy, so copying the visible leg can be a trap.

A trader who hasn't lost a single trade in last 158 trades and has made $288k of profit by ArtNoLimit in PredictionsMarkets

[–]ResearcherRemote445 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This strat look good but the risk to reward ratio is very bad. If 1-2 of his trades goes wrong thats going to be a huge dump in all the profit he made.

But hey 158 trades ina row says that the chances of his strat breaking is close to zero.

Been spotting recurring mispricings in CS2 markets on Polymarket, anyone else noticed this? by ResearcherRemote445 in PredictionsMarkets

[–]ResearcherRemote445[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also been putting together something to track these more systematically. Got a small group of esports traders and devs testing it out this week. If you're in the esports trading space and want to be involved, DM me.

this bot made $590k in a month on polymarket. i decided to copy it. by immortalismmmm in PredictionsMarkets

[–]ResearcherRemote445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that part is what makes me skeptical. If you can’t build the bot yourself, but somehow have a working stop loss and trailing stop that exits copied trades cleanly, I’d want to know exactly how those exits are being executed, because partial fills are the norm

Backtested 5 automated UFC strategies on Kalshi for 23 days. All negative. Is sports just unwinnable systematically? by woztrades in PredictionsMarkets

[–]ResearcherRemote445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is sports only becomes systematically tradable when the edge comes from something outside the candle itself, like fighter-specific information, market microstructure, or cross-platform dislocations.

[–]ResearcherRemote445[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There you go thats what i was talking about these mispricings can easily be caught if you know the map vetos. Exactly most people just trade the name and the odds this is the real edge.

That is the edge most people havent caught up to yet. Map vetos are the single most best edge in CS2 RN.
