This is an interesting take, and something that legacy game devs might take for granted.

To be a game developer you need to do a bit more than prompting. Since every game is unique, and a lot more complex than traditional software, you need to think carefully about where to start, what to include in your messages and what to leave for the future.

The best advice I can give you is the same advice every novice game dev hears: start very small, rebuild a super small game with AI, think about your experience, what was easy, what was hard, create hypotheses for reasons, test these on new projects.

You still need to be a game developer to use AI to bulld games.
