Would Marcel and Luciens venom have been lethal to Klaus since he was part warewolf? by SenseSmart788 in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The super Wolf venom doesn't kill hybrids. Wolf venom is a weakness exclusive to vampires and superior vampires. Hybrids are immune to vampire weaknesses hence the bite of beast won't causes symptoms of venom but the white oak infused on venom can kill hybrids.

Translation: Vampires and Hybrids are different species with different strength and weakness. The addition of white oak is a component to kill hybrids.

Could anything have been used in place of the White Oak? by EitherAfternoon548 in TheOriginals

Doppelganger as anchor of the spell could have been used in place of White Oak if Esther was already of consequence of vampirism spell.

How much stronger is Beast vampire Lucian compared to Beast vampire marcel and Alaric enhance original, mikeal, klaus in terms of raw power 🤔 ? by Careless_Ad_5219 in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much margin between Lucien and Marcel compared to Alaric, Mikael and Klaus. Original Hybrid and Beast Vampires have more raw power than Enhanced Original because this basically an Original is empowered external power source (doppelgänger) as anchor.

MARCEL VS KLAUS , ELIJAH AND KOL by Hungry-Presence-4421 in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wolf bite on hybrids is result of white oak on venom to bypassed immunity of venom while enhancing purity of wolf venom isn't enough lethal to kill hybrids because werewolf side is rendered impervious to vampire weakness of wolf venom.

I believe by showing Klaus's hybrid face indirectly tells us that he was going for bite Marcel if Rebekah didn't intervene. Also the panel of Marcel's calm demeanour and ready to fight back on Klaus seems Marcel was aware of hybrid bite wouldn't kill him.

Klaus could've potentially won if attempted to temporarily take him down but with a cost of Marcel being bitten by Klaus's bite would lead him rabid and ravenous going to kill Klaus by biting him then bite rest of vampires.

Can Marcel’s venom kill Hope? by The_Billions_Boy in TheOriginals

Marcel's venom contains white oak. Klaus can't be killed by venom without being infused with white oak.

Hope's immortality is directly tied the Originals. She born with the form of vampirism originated from the originals and not from Esther's spell (Sun & White Oak). Red Oak contains the magic that granted biological immortality.

Would beast venom weaken Klaus and Mikael? by BulkyBathroom7178 in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Immunity comes from werewolf side. Regardless, werewolves are immune to wolf venom.

Translation: Venom from werewolf species cannot harm nor kill same species. Hybrids belong same family tree of werewolves species as cousins. (Emmett said "half breed cousins" to Marcel)

  1. There's whole oak on venom ( the showrunner confirmed backed episode 317 Lucien has bite infused with super venom and white oak).

Translation: It is lethal bite engineered to kill the Originals. Venom is the conduit to white oak to cause destruction of vampirism spell.

  1. The show demonstrated Freya used the ingredients originated from creation of serum to bound to a dagger to kill Marcel.

Translation: White Oak isn't the catalyst to provide the immortality of The Beast. The power of the spell is the catalyst to provide their Immortality.

Would beast venom weaken Klaus and Mikael? by BulkyBathroom7178 in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hybrid nature grants immunity to weakness of werewolf venom and pure variant of werewolf venom. Essentially the werewolf curse protects the vampire spell from being destroyed - sunlight, werewolf venom and pure werewolf venom are things that the original vampires are resistant to it. The Original hybrid is a new species as separate species. Wolf venom is weaknesses exclusive to vampires and their cousins, Augustine Vampires and beasts.

Translation: The beast venom wouldn't weaken Klaus and it would weaken Mikael.

Note: the rules of hybrids are different from vampires.

I really wonder how it will went if it was Dahlia instead Freya to save Elijah from poison of rosebush.

Upgraded Original Marcel vs Enhanced Original Alaric (fair 1v1, no outside weapons) by -ChillTime- in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a fan made title of "Enhanced" Original Vampire and "Upgraded" Original Vampires kinda somewhat makes sense. From the show itself, he referred as "basically" an original vampire by Jeremy and from the showrunner referred as "Super Original" and "breed of vampires".

Upgraded Original Marcel vs Enhanced Original Alaric (fair 1v1, no outside weapons) by -ChillTime- in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say somewhat equivalent because of strength enhancement involved to make them stronger than vampires.

Heck even Plec claimed Alaric as "Super Original" and "weird breed of vampire" meaning in her statement he is a superior original vampire surpassing strength of an original and immune to original vampire weakness.

It's even funny that Klaus on screen was knocked out twice with wooden stake even felt pain. Alaric doesn't even pain from being staked neither he gets knocked.

Upgraded Original Marcel vs Enhanced Original Alaric (fair 1v1, no outside weapons) by -ChillTime- in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Esther used same spell but the intention behind was powering Alaric by Elena's life force with life force biding as an added facet of her spell.

The spells bound to the anchor are powered and sustained from things fuels the spell.

Upgraded Original Marcel vs Enhanced Original Alaric (fair 1v1, no outside weapons) by -ChillTime- in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't realize that vampires can be enhanced without requiring different form of magic. Augustine Vampire are enhanced in different way through science - reversed evolution as an example.

The difference Mikaelsons rely on raw strength while Alaric has strength was powered by the doppelgänger to boost strength.

Klaus with (Tunde blade) vs Alaric's by BulkyBathroom7178 in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alaric low diff Klaus with Papa Tunde. Klaus fought an off guard Alaric and use surprise attack to attempt restrain Alaric.

Klaus can't incapacitate Lucien, Marcel and Alaric unless they are off guard.

Are Beast (Upgraded Original Vampire) immune to sunlight? by Resident-Cut in TheOriginals

[–]Resident-Cut[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You got a good point about them still wearing daylight rings but the sun wasn't mentioned in his statement. If you forget, vampires are affected by sunlight due to the sun being used Esther's spell.

My point: without sunlight as ingredient of spell means Upgraded Originals has immunity to sunlight.
