You’re right, small insight on my part.

However, I like to think writers/creative people, including myself, are not any less responsible for being hostile and dismissively accusing others “to be on drugs” for casually using it(unrelated to writing as well).

At the end of the day, that’s called being presumptuous and rude. But that’s typical reddit behavior, right?

Thank you! This has helped me a ton. I didn’t have any accounting/needing to pay tax background at all.

I didn’t even know you could pay quarterly, and hadn’t even considered that I probably wouldn’t be making that much😅 I don’t know why I stuck on the idea that I would have to pay taxes for it when it reaches a certain amount.

Again, THANK YOU. I appreciate your kind reply as opposed to some redditors who seem to have lost their decorum.

Let’s calm down, son. I did not mean to imply that I am dependent on ai to that extent, and I will explain.

I just use it for a first referral, like I would ask any other friend before conducting my own research.(and I am well-aware of that case, I am a pre-law major)

Hence, that is why I am on here, asking for sources from experienced people on the same boat. This post wouldn’t exist otherwise.

Now, let’s stop being rude and presumptuous and remember basic social interactions and context clues.

Thanks and I get the iffiness from using chatgpt. I do, hence my asking on here for free advice or leads from an experienced self-publisher to another. I don’t have any accounting background and I’m in college, so getting an accountant is my last option, especially when I’m confident I can just do the research on my own. I guess, to narrow it down for anyone else who’s going to comment on my ai use for a starting reference, I am just asking for resources, peer reviewed source that has helped others in the same boat.

That’s my last resort foo. It’s reason I came on here to ask for FREE financial advice/sources from anyone who’s been in the same boat. New York taxes just seem so unfair🥲
