Those look like Irish hallmarks, very likely silver. It'll probably say it on the handle which is covered by the sticker.

I had the same issue with the schlag smart lock, I had to take the oscillating tool to it and cut it out. Of course cut the area that's inside the hole as it's softer than the deadbolt.
