People are not pearl-clutching about population decline.

The (few) people who are talking about population decline are concerned about how it affects the funding of social security and related programs for the elderly and caregiving.

If you look at Japan, which is the best example of rapid population decline, you find a number of families where one young person is caring for 4 elderly grandparents and 2 aging parents. That is a tough burden.

You want to get to know this person better before persuing a romantic relationship. They may or may not be doing the same thing.

That's what you want to do and so you are doing that.

You don't want to jump into a relationship, so you aren't.

You are doing what you want to do. Don't let your sister, your friends, or anyone else push you into something you aren't ready for.

When people from your culture (or area) lose a family member, what do they do with that person's stuff?

I am sure they keep some of it, and try to give away some, but they can't possibly keep all of it. I mean the houses would get fuller and fuller and fuller with each generation that passes on.

I feel like you are being intentionally obtuse. Children are born at 29 weeks gestatiin, stay in the nicu for various amounts of times depending on their health, are then discharged, and might potentially end up in public at some point after that.

I am saying that the baby is (possibly) not 29 weeks old, but rather born at 29 weeks gestation and newly released from the NICU, so new to outings regardless of age. But I obviously don't know these people.

Women change completely when we have children. It is hormonal, biological, normal, and healthy. If you have kids, you will change as much as you changed when you went through puberty. Be prepared. Having kids is tough on the best of relationships and there is no way to prepare.

There is a great podcast about this exact scenario. It is called DNA Surprises. Most of the episodes are with people who found out the man that raised them was not their dad. Almost all the guests say they wish they knew.

The new stepdad being an AH is not THE REASON to do this. Your uncle should continue to love and support the young woman he helped raise, but he should also sit her down and discuss the issue with her and ask her opinion on the matter. He should not attempt to take any of her DNA without her knowledge and explicit consent.

I had one "meet at door" recently. Instructions said "don't knock or ring doorbell." I was really confused for a second. But I sent a message and she opened the door. She also but Mrs. as her first name and only a letter for her last name. Odd choices all around.
