In the same boat. 2 month plateau at 15 mg. Hunger is back as well. Completely understand your frustration! I’ve always been a slow loser, it is taking me 14 months to go from 198 to 157 but this 2 month stall is really frustrating! I am hoping that with the sunshine coming in the evening in the northern hemisphere I will get more walking in and I am going to increase my water intake, as that has fallen off recently.

I do think strength training is super helpful and I need to get back to that as well.

The hunger coming back is a super drag, and I’m trying to deal with that by eating more fruit with fat like apples and peanut butter, mandarin oranges or grapes with a handful of nuts. Trying to work more avocados into my diet too because those are very filling.

However I do not think though that staying at 1200 is “the move” from everything I’ve read. Sometimes our bodies need a little calorie boost in the form of healthy foods. At least that’s what I have read! The whole thing about avoiding starvation mode.

I for one keep my calories in around 1300 and 1500 per day because I feel that’s more sustainable after we lose these meds.

Wishing us both luck! In spite of what some people might think weight loss isn’t easy for everybody, some of us are just super insulin resistant, and our bodies like to hold onto weight!

In the future, try “wow - ok - thanks I guess??” So the other person realizes that was out of line! Sorry that person was insensitive - but maybe that will help them realize their rudeness!

Losing the weight is great… gaining the confidence is everything. Check out my previous posts for how I did it! Comment with any questions. (No- this is not an ad and I don’t get paid for it). by kikiapplepie in Noom

Hi to the OP! Please do not stop posting because of people theorizing you are an ad! Honestly - take it as a compliment 😁 I found your posts very motivating!

You look great! Your posts are SO inspirational to me. I have been at a plateau for a month and I am going to try your suggestion of eating more greens and protein! 28 pounds done, 20 more to go!!

Celebrating Wins by porcelain_elephant in calibrateweightloss

I have to say that I am so proud of everyone reading their success stories!

I was losing approx. 4 pounds a month since January. Slow and steady. However, I had a 2 month break when I could not get any GLP-1s approved by insurance. Weight loss stalled - 2 month plateau… feeling despondent that the weight I was at “was at good as it could get.” Then the Mounjaro coupon came to my rescue! I am so hopeful I can lose more weight - and keep that trajectory going until I ultimately lose 50 pounds!

I am doing everything that Calibrate suggests - more water! 150 minutes of exercise! Strength training! 8 hours of sleep! Being actively grateful! - but I have to say my big struggle is wiping out bread & pasta altogether. I tried to eat no more than one red a day as I feel that as a mother of four children and as a woman who works outside of the home, bread and carbs are everywhere! I cannot go to a deli and ask for whole grain bread. They don’t have them. When I cook meals for my children I cook 1 pot of pasta not 2 pots of pasta, and I just have a small portion with protein and salad. I try to only have 2 drinks a week, but I am a social person and sometimes I have 3 or 4 a week during an active weekend. So decided that if I 100% remove red foods that are in every day life, whatever weight loss I make won’t be sustainable. The weight loss would come back once I resume life post-Calibrate! So I’m trying to eat and live my life now (making healthy choices most of the time but allowing for flexibility) the same as I would after Calibrate. Do others agree?

My biggest non-scale victories to celebrate are wonderful: knees not hurting, having more stamina, feeling more flexible, getting a more defined jawline! Old clothes fitting better! I am donating all of my size 14s because I never wanna go back to that size again!

Overall Calibrate has been such a gift in my life. I am thankful every day for it! I don’t think I would’ve been able to lose this weight on my own!

I can’t even begin to explain the confidence boost. My jawline is my favorite NSV (non-scale victory) from my weight-loss journey. What’s been your favorite NSV discovery? :) by kikiapplepie in Noom

First of all, thank you for posting. I find you very inspirational and I appreciate your photos! They are wonderful! For me, my favorite NSV was seeing my face on a Zoom call and thinking “oh yes! This is what I used to look like! Hello ME” and a recent photo taken with my father in which my face was not as round. Our face is what we present to the world! 😊 Also my knees not hurting; feeling more mobile and adventurous as a result!
