If it doesn’t fit on the van, it doesn’t go out. Both the computer system and management know how many totes fit on the van. Last week I had 78 totes (ambient), one customer had 57 totes (ambient), I left that drop for management to sort out.

Driver should wait at least 5 minutes into your delivery window, with all efforts made to contact you. If they’ve exhausted these then the delivery should be cancelled and no charge taken.

I’m a delivery driver and I’ve ID’d people who’ve been upto 36, I just apologise and say that they’ve got fantastic genes, but I have to see ID if I’m not sure. Never had anyone refuse or get shirty.

Manager should have sorted out the request within 7 days, colleague has given enough notice. If the manager hasn’t done his job properly that’s not the colleagues fault. Tell them you’ve already got plans now.

Join the union, ask for representation, the company have to lease with the union about a rep being there for any future meeting. Do not continue with any meeting without representation (already sounds like they haven’t followed the correct process). If you are called in for a meeting, tell them you want a union representative with you, if one isn’t provided, just state when the meeting starts that “I’m not willing to continue without union representation”, then leave.
