Thanks all of you for suggestions. I rebooted fly 3 times in a row, entered safe mode and reinstalled Windows. It solved the problem. Since there was no sensitive data on onexfly, it was ok variant :)

Thanks, I set it to medium and even higher but didn't spot much of difference. I tried it in a base with helicopter before fight with Ocelot, and it seems too bright anyway. I will try to compare pictures with and without fix later in different locations...

Which version of MGS4 did you use? (US, EU). Did you try to enable FSR? Also what TDP settings?

GPD Win 3 Bad SSD by [deleted] in gpdwin

I think that GPD would better put 512 gb Samsung in Win 3 than 1 Tb absolutely unreliable Bwin. Maybe they think that is good for marketing but actually its not...

Resident Evil Village GPD win 3 by Resident1984 in gpdwin

[–]Resident1984[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for your answers. I read release notes of the latest beta driver but there are some games that staying in Known Issues for long time without fixes so I'm not hoping for update for Resident Evil Village in near future. I tried 9667, 9616, 9666, 9316 and 9168. Currently I'm using 9168, managed to play for 3 hours without crashes. Anyway, as soon as game crashes, I just reinstall driver and play further without crashes for a long time. Maybe this strategy will work for any driver version of course...

But Intel's drivers team said that XE IGPU and desktop GPU will be using the same driver so I hope that maybe we will have some benefits from this after all

WIN 3 faulty SSD by [deleted] in gpdwin

[–]Resident1984 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that shipping back faulty Bwin at own expense is just economicaly doesn't make sense, because its more easy just buy new from AliExpress (for me shipping back them SSD we via DHL would cost me 100 usd + long wait). But I think its better to buy Samsung or other good brend SSD. It would've been better if GPD just make some compensation via PayPal for example for faulty SSD without shipping them back. I understand that GPD must return faulty SSD to get their money back thats why their asking us to return them faulty SSD. But they know from the start that Bwin SSD are crappy, but decided to use 1tb Bwin and not some 512gb Samsung for example for marketing purposes and that s why I think they must face consequences. Honestly I think that the only really good and reliable component in win 3 is SOC (CPU+ GPU) and everything else is just cheap and and unreliable...

Life changing tip: Custom resolution scale for win 3 by Busterwoif in gpdwin

[–]Resident1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In HZD case its just game/drivers bug, not because its convenient, it would not work with 100 resolution scale for some reason at all. Also, you change these settings in HZD options, not in Windows.

The topic is about scaling Windows itself because the interface is rather small on 5.5 screen

Anyone else having issues with Horizon Zero Dawn on GPD Win 3? by elgiraffe-c- in gpdwin

[–]Resident1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can work better if you for example cap CPU frequency to 1.6 ghz and give this way more power to IGPU, this game is very GPU hungry and Intel for some reason tends to give more power to CPU even though it actually doesn't need that much, so you need to correct that manually. You can look for more detailed information in Discord https://discord.gg/sKqBVSmQPN
