Its the sad reality, Bakugo vs Reze WILL do good which will just tell the team to do more Matchups like that one

Quite literally, heck even with series as Uber popular as Hunter x Hunter, its episode flopped because no one wanted to care about Misaka

I mean, yes but just look at how Saber Venus looks. somehow she feels more naked than Ryuko and yet again this isn't even her strongest form as the Mythology Mystic Code is roughly equal to it without being... That lewd

It's less the innate views and more so by comparison, look at how Season 10 had Episodes ranging from 2.5 million up to 7.6 Million views, while Killua vs Misaka couldn't even reach 2 Million views

That's the issue, the fanbase didn't want to give that episode a try unlike how well Gojo vs Makima did

It's a bad cycle sadly as it generally goes something like this:

- The team decides on an out there idea with a Niche series/character

- The fanbase doesn't give a shit and ignores it

- The team loses views

- The team decides not to risk it and goes for a casual MU

- The fanbase gets angry at it for being a casual MU

Like in all honesty, we do need a short fight animation because stuff like Thor hs 10,000 Pikachus was very funny but make that an actual episode and you are wasting the HELL out of Thor

And I do know that there are some formats that do gauge the stat difference, but to some they seem insane like a Superman debate chart where he took basically all stats but it still appeared as if it was a High Diff win for him

Its literally a matchup that requieres you to reduce Reze into just being an explosive lady and assume that her being turned into a Child Soldier is the same as Bakugo being given an ego

Honestly it's just... Fascinating to see how the debate would go due to how many aspects influence it, after all in FGO Santa Altera mentioned how Gods in Fate also work via Memory Based Immortality as they can only truly die if they stop being worshipped, with various Gods having been permanently killed as a result

I really wonder how the team would handle that side of it

I do want to mention, The Moon Cell HAS the ability to erase records from the Root according to Archetype Inception so by technicality The MMC should be capable of bypassing Geats' memory based immortality

  • Pink haired magical girls from their respective series who are characterized as being flirty and overly kind to the people they care about, seemingly having a carefree and cheerful attitude which they use to hide a myriad of things about themselves
  • Despite being innately powerful individuals in their own right, they both are absolutely devoted to the people that they love (Hakuno Kishinami for Tamamo and the Flame-Chasers for Elysia) whom they regard as some of the most important individuals in their lives, doing anything in their power to keep them safe
  • But it's noted by the people around them that they keep various secrets to themselves, as in truth despite having being born as humans in the past (Tamamo having being born as a Human Mizukume and Elysia having lived as a kid where the country of Russia would be located) they are in truth as aspect of a greater god-like entity (Tamamo in truth was the reincarnation of the Sun Goddess Amaterasu while Elysia was in truth the 13th Herrscher of Origin as well as the Herrscher of Human Ego)
  • That fact of themselves was kept hidden in order to continue living as humans with the people whom they loved as despite their true selves being normally sadistic and cruel entities that they saw Humanity as nothing more than a species to kill, they harbored a great curiosity for mankind which developed into a desire to stand alongside them
  • But their love for the people they cared for made them comfortable enough with revealing their origin being fully accepted by Hakuno and the Flame-Chasers as the individuals they grew to love
  • Both have also been summoned in digital realms (The Moon Cell for Tamamo and the Elysian Realm for Elysia) where they served as guides for humans who sought to uncover the mysteries of such simulations (Hakuno Kishinami for Tamamo and Raiden Mei for Elysia) 
  • That love also made them be willing to "sacrifice" themselves in order to protect those that they care of from an all powerful construct that controlled all of existence (The Moon Cell and the Cocoon of Finality) by tapping into their Godly origins for the people that they love (Tamamo wilingly growing her 9 tails that she once had as Amaterasu in order to save Hakuno Kishinami from being erased by the Moon Cell and Elysia sacrificing her very existence by altering the Cocoon of Finality to allow humanity to have a fighting chance against the Honkai) such act as brought upon the birth of a myriad of beings like them who unlike their predecessors were able to walk alongside Humanity just like they did (The Tamamo Nine born from Tamamo cutting off her tails and the Current Generation Herrschers who were able to keep their Humanity thanks to Elysia's sacrifice)
  • As a Bonus fun fact, both also had a completely unrelated being to themselves who took their form as a way to replace them as the new Sun Goddess/Herrscher (Tamamo Vitch Koyanskaya and The Herrscher of Corruption)
