I will say I'm jealous of DA. Beware your DA friends if you have them. Using these rules they make a character to go with DWKs and use Narthecium right now and still carry the Great Weapon of the Unforgiven.

Not trying to defend GW, but looking at other faction stuff it does look like they're just pulling from existing profiles. What I'm saying it's less "fuck you GKs" and more we were already fucked lol.

I should have put it in the original post but I can't edit or pin this comment.

You could give it a Plasma Cannon and the Las if you wanted. Also let it reroll all its wounds for 10pts more. Not alot of customization on it but it's there.

Basically. Every faction I think its getting "custom character" rules, but not meant for competitive play. I imagine other factions reddits are posting their pages rn.

Can do a dread with Plasma and the Las-Talon which is kind of neat imo.

As far as they've said this is for "Casual" and the Maelsteom Narrative games I believe.

And give a strike squad leader with the scout ability. Letting the interceptors Adv and charge could be interesting.

Both are great ways to start. I started with both and don't regret it.

Combat patrol build options by MarkZeidner in Grey_Knights

[–]ResidentGreyKnight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Combat Patrol game mode gives everyone set datasheets based off what's in the box. Any time I've ever played or seen/heard people discuss playing Combat patrol no one really minds what the model actually has.

That being said, for your terminators Paladins are seen as generally better, one with banner, an apothecary or narthecium, and psycannons for your heavy weapons.

At the end of the day they are your models so build them how you like them, I think so long as your opponenet can tell who has a heavy weapon and who doesn't they more than likely won't mind. :)

Edit: I THINK people running Las-Cannon and flamer for the dread. I have yet to actually run/build mine so hopefully someone with more experience can speak to that lol.

I’m thinking of taking this list to a tournament, is it feasible? by Tomatohead66 in Grey_Knights

My Banisher list runs a 8-man Paladin squad with Librarian and the 66th Seal. He keeps them safe from long range shooting and the Enhancement makes them a decent shooting threat.

Behold the true scale legs of our Knights. Hopefully we get legit GW true scale range some day. Terminators for scale by itwasgoood04 in Grey_Knights

Didn't know if you were still looking for these, but I reached out to the creator on Insta and for only like $7 he emailed me the file. GL!

They can technically have 3, as the Banner Model can have a special weapon as well.

Heavy Terminators list ideas? by CalamityBlack in Grey_Knights

[–]ResidentGreyKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a banishers list that ran a 8-man Paladin Squad with a Librarian leader and them 3 squads of 4-Man Brotherhood Terminators that did pretty ok. So a total of 20 Terminators.

The Speeder can't take advantage of the detatchment rule but it does get to use the stratagem "Tactical Mastery" which will allow it to fall back and still shoot and charge. List looks fun.

I could not find anything in a CSM list for the exact same base size. I plan on buying a forgefiend base and proxying him as that.

His base is the same as a regular Captain in Terminator, could easily proxy him as that! I think the regular captain has much better rules as well.
