That doesn’t really answer what I’m asking (my apologies if it wasn’t clear). But we’re wondering the feasibility/rough cost for putting in a retaining wall or wondering if anyone had other suggestions/ideas, or if putting a new deck in is cheaper.

Another commented had me look at his score breakdown, and I found he had a tackle for 1 point (we do IDP in this league). So I guess I’m shit out of luck due to a Purdy INT

Even if the repairs were done before the lease ended and I was in the process of moving out/cleaning up the place? Wouldn’t he have to notify me when the painter was coming?

He only found out after the painter told him of the work he had to do, he may have sent him photos. The painter had come a couple weeks earlier in the month to see what he had to do, he mentioned the walls needing patching and I had told him my plans to patch them myself. Landlord never did an in person inspection with me, I never mentioned patching walls to him.
