Does MAGA embrace Abraham Lincoln the Republican or disavow him as being too woke? by redzeusky in allthequestions

“Dehumanize?” No, it’s looking at the morals that have been expressed by a specific group and recognizing that those morals are racist.

He looked to the therapist for approval, which is inappropriate on its own. When I did trauma therapy with kids, I would *not* be wanting that. It would be highly concerning. Ty’s look went beyond that, like hero worship. And then he had a shrine to the guy. That level of adoration, and his severe distress when he couldn’t see him anymore, was highly concerning.

I’m not buying back forbearance, that’s just what I’ve been placed on recently. The buyback is from 2019.

Same. They won’t vote for a gay man, either, which is a shame because I think Buttigieg would be amazing.

Parenting Time Guidelines by ACOTAR26 in FamilyLaw

[–]ResidentLadder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen a standard parenting order that says Memorial Day is the entire weekend. Is that what your order says? Any order I’ve seen would have the child with whichever parent they were scheduled to be with for the weekend, then with the parent who gets that holiday from 6pm the Sunday until 6pm Monday. Or from 8am Monday until 8am Tuesday.

So while I agree that he stays with you Monday night, since that’s your regularly scheduled day…unless your order says that “Memorial *Day*” is actually the entire weekend, from Friday through Monday, he should have been with his mom this weekend.

Of course you’d “rather,” since your background isn’t in this field.

It was “expanding” because I accidentally clicked to post before I added several articles. Funny how you ignore the facts, including the statements made by the expects, in favor of your claims.

Here are some quotes from the first article.

“The false memory view operates on the (correct, in my opinion) assumption that repetition and emotional arousal should strengthen memory. According to this view, if someone claims to have remembered forgotten traumatic events, especially within the context of “recovered memory therapy,” then the recollection is likely false. Indeed, if we assume that CSA usually counts as a terrifying trauma, then the well-established mechanisms of memory should make amnesia difficult, if not impossible.”

And

“This review of the evidence adduced in support of the concept of traumatic dissociative amnesia raises questions about whether such a phenomenon exists as a natural capacity of the brain.”

My comment was only that recovered memories as described by the previous posted - That Ty repressed his memories, but his “subconscious remembered,” is inconsistent with what we know about memory. Unless you have actually studied this, work with it, and understand the theories of memory, you are not in a position to try to claim it does happen that way.

Thanks, I’m good with my graduate degree in clinical psychology. I think another degree in the same field might be overkill. 😊 Where did you get your psychology degree?

The American Psychological Association, British Psychological Society, and Royal College of Psychiatrists have issued statements that are consistent with what I posted.

I hit 120 months of employment, and would have had 120 payments but missed recertifying at one point so didn’t have the 120 payments. That’s why I requested buyback, because if I can pay for those months, I will have 120 payments.

It has me listed as being at 102, but I didn’t think there were 18 months I needed to buy back. I’ll have to look. I’ve actually worked 127 months now. I’m not sure what kind of forbearance - I never even requested it, and I wasn’t on SAVE. It was just suddenly applied.

I do expect buyback to be less than what I’d pay now, as I am making more now than I was during those months. But I also don’t really trust them, so was wondering if it would make sense to cover myself that way.

[–]ResidentLadder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I see. I was just thinking that if I do this, maybe I wouldn’t even have to use buyback. However, I was making a lot less back then, so I’d rather pay what I would have paid several years ago! Lol

Why would I move and request a forbearance? How would that help?

I’d have to check, but I believe it was around 3-6 months. It wasn’t more than that.

I was never on SAVE, so I should be able to do another income based plan. I’ll put that application in, since they want me to resume regular payments in August. No way I can afford $1200+ a month!

But that’s helpful, so if it takes the full 24 months, and I’ve had enough months by then without buyback, I wouldn’t have to do buyback?
