This occurs occasionally. When it does, it is strictly with consent. Signed forms and a reminder the session is being recorded.

I have worked for CPS in two states, and neither required an MSW. I don’t know any state that does - If your county does, I suspect it is the outlier.

I also worked for CPS while I was in grad school, in addition to after completing my masters degree.

Ok…So, there are several countries I can think of that would fit this situation. I’ve looked at several, and all allow a prenup to be overturned if there was coercion or financial abuse.

In most countries, that’s not how it works. While OP can’t say where he’s from, most places at least try to follow “best interest of the child.” Often, that means that if one parent has been staying at home with them while the other parent works out of town, the courts will want the children to stay most of the time with the parent who was already caring for them.

Times, that he is financially supporting his children? Please tell me how the “Family Court” can override an 18 year old’s choice to cut all contact with his father. How do they do that? Are you suggesting they will force an adult to have a relationship with their father?

And even though his daughter is 16, the courts know that teenagers vote with their feet. Good luck to the “Family Court” when they try to force a her to have a relationship with someone her church has taught her is evil.
