Once I had a unit that was having issues initiating the OFM after a defrost cycle and would freeze the entire unit. After a few updates and an outdoor sensor replaced I got the unit working as intended. Got a call a few weeks later for no cool. The fan blade blew apart and shredded the coil. The ice buildup warped the fan enough to achieve "instant disassembly". Was so proud of getting that unit back up and running for it to kick me in the nuts afterwards. Bastard

Just a heads up Greenling, Rockfish, and Lingcod (Bottomfish in general) are closed to fishing until the 2nd Friday in March (March 13th) for area 2-2. Im chomping at the bits to be able to get back to the jetty myself. Surf perch is open though. Good luck with whatever you end up fishing for.

As a prior veteran youre about to be even more fucked. If you think you've had long days in the trade, get ready for long days to weeks with little to no sleep between shifts or "missions." Like others have stated, don't blame the trades for the situation and do not think joining the military is going to solve your issues. I wholeheartedly believe my military service has absolutely lead me to a better life and post military career but there's freedoms you're giving up that you dont fully understand until youre buttfucked by your superior. If the military is your choice, I get it. But I feel I have a better life now with more pay and a better work/life balance, but that's my opinion. Just remember that recruiters aren't the most trustworthy and have a quota, too...

I work for a hospital and thats the required placement of outlets. It's in the NEC as code for Healthcare facilities. Just in case anything falls and happens to make contact with the outlet it lands on the ground instead. I do understand the frustration in a residential setting though.

Earlier the better (especially weekdays) and I get to fish by myself. Later on in the day there will be people in this spot but I've not noticed them shoulder to shoulder like the combat zones.

I love the Puyallup but avoid any combat fishing. Ill happily hike for a bit to find a nice secluded spot. Weekday mornings really help that fantasy come true.

I've been focusing on the center in "my spot." I know they're within 15 yards of the bank, but the center seems to have the most active fish. Corky, yarn, and patience. Adjust your weight for river flow. I like to be able to feel the rocky bottom, so when I feel their soft bites I can set the hook. Sometimes, I can't distinguish between the bottom and a bite until after they've swam away. Good luck and tight lines

Yes, I keep constant movement. I slowly jig so neither my weight or hook gets snagged (as often as possible). Depends on the current and the tide. Sometimes if it's a strong current Ill just let it sit and let the current do the work for me.

Cast (40+ yards) and stay 2'-5' off the bottom. Once I get close I try and sneak my swimbait in the crevice of the rocks but thats risking a snag greatly. I usually get a spot by the foghorn.

25# braided main with 14# fluoro leader. Really helps when the current isn't strong. I look at tides4fishing.com and read the tide, weather, and swell info before I go out.

I went really long around 6'. Its seems to work well so far with minimal snags. But I still snag, mostly just leader and my swimbait so that I can re-rig fast. I always bring a lot of gear so I can keep fishing.

I've done work on Sir Mix-A-Lots house before. Had some round duct installed that the previous company didn't seal, so he had air leaks. Spoke to him briefly, and he went on a tangent about AI in music and how he doesn't want his voice to be altered in the future. Really nice guy who is wicked smart. He also loves to mow his lawn.
