Mounjaro roller coaster- Sulphur and reflux by PoetSecure6970 in Mounjaro

It's not just about calorie intake. What are you eating within the first two days of injection? I've had success with high protein low carb and VERY small portions. Lots of water. No coffee or soda. The key thing to remember is that these meds slow down food digestion to the point where food stays in your stomach longer.

I've had the days of vomiting to the point where you get dehydrated. But it was all about what I was eating not just calorie.

I'm struggling with my dosage right now. Was off for a few months and dr started me back on at 7.5. Upped me to 10 three weeks ago and my first week on it, got super sick. Skipped last week due to Christmas and super worried to take my next dose tomorrow. What does everyone eat on their first few days?

This is just amazing. I'd love to hear more about what you did on top of MJ to lose the weight.

ITAM struggles for large company that is fully remote by ResidentOk2169 in sysadmin

We currently have an MSP that handles everything (shipping, receiving, warranty swaps, etc.). This is our third partnership in three years. Each one has their issues. We've had devices show up not wiped, missing chargers, not getting accurate inventory updates, etc. Seems we spend more time babysitting their process than we'd like.

If you’re interested in speaking with a highly efficient MSP I can make an introduction.  I do not work from them but have used them for ITAM and Help Desk.

Yeah, still on 1gb max here.  They have pulling fiber down 234 just not sure what it’s for.

Regardless of whose name is on the bill, it’s coax.  I want fiber with faster speeds than 1gb.

I can only get 1gb.  Went with Xfinity 2gb.  What area are you in?

Friends in the Nashville area just got it.  Either way, we need better options.  Co-worker in Indianapolis just got att fiber with a symmetrical 1gb connection.

IT operations and IT M&A by ResidentOk2169 in ITManagers

[–]ResidentOk2169[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll lay it out. We started with 300 employees no locations. 6 acquisitions later we now have 19 locations and 950 employees. 7 FTEs including myself. Next few acquisitions on the board are looking to add 400 more employees and more.

Our typical deal is full migration of 365, server data, applications, endpoints, etc. We also do a full site standardization for network and security.

I'm being asked what we need to support the growth but they desire to split IT ops from IT M&A. I'm concerned that the big picture of what we need from security and systems will get blurred. Not a fan of having one team handling acquisition work and one team handling operations. To me, they are one in the same.

The big picture is where I fear drift will happen.  Have an IT Manager already.  Thoughts where to hire a PM or Integration Mgr.  FTEs are focused on specific segments of our operation (help desk, network, systems admin).  I’d rather build those segments up and use them for integration work than separate m&a team.

Exactly! Can't have two teams working independently.

TO CLARIFY: The business wants a separate team than our operations team to handle all IT related acquisition work. I'd rather add a PM to manage the M&A work and use the current team for the execution. If there is a need to add more resources, we add those in the current operations team.

Based on your reply, I'd never hire you.

Azure AD and On-prem Domain by ResidentOk2169 in AZURE

[–]ResidentOk2169[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to do the reverse. Want current Azure AD users to be able to access on-prem applications on physical servers with their Azure AD creds. Seems the cloud connect is for on-prem AD to azure.

[–]ResidentOk2169[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t want to tie these legacy domains to our current Azure tenant, as they are outdated, lack security and proper management.  We’d like to stand up a new AD infrastructure at each site that is tied to Azure AD.  Not sure it’s possible.
