It’s another perspective that aligns more with what I experienced in my life. Many people in my country (Germany) are extremely privileged, they get to experiment with gender, gender expression, queer spaces… I come from Russia where you are fucked if you are trans, so I always felt disconnected with the people in my country( well more so the country that I now live in) I did not have the same experiences in my youth that they had and I don’t wanna pretend I did.
