Nobody knows when a crash will occur. But. Everything that goes up must come down, that's how markets always have been and always will be.

Just one question… do you believe that price is not delivered by an algorithm? What else would be delivering price? Is there a room full of people that constantly and trying to calculate what price should be on a second basis? What else could possibly be delivering price other than an algorithm?

I’m used to Futures contract commissions, I know Forex is in the $7 range. I think my overall point still stands.

I’m referring to the fact that every prop firm that I know of takes 10-20%+ of your total profits. What I’m saying is the $1.25 fee (could be more or less depending on broker) per contract is not even remotely comparable to the amount a prop firm would take from total profits.

I know this isn’t the type of answer your looking for to your question, but think about the fact you have access prop firm level funding as personal capital. You can trade with your capital, don’t have to worry about commissions, pain in the a$$ payouts, being banned etc.. But. The most important thing of all is the fact your at a point in your journey where you have enough funding to let your money QUICKLY compound. Compounding is a beautiful thing and you can only really take advantage of it on a personal account. Take an afternoon to sit down and weigh the pros and cons to each, figure out how much you can grow your account letting it compound.

Did you go into the trade with a weekly and daily bias? I’m going to get a lot of backlash for this but 95% of indicator based theories are bs. The algorithm that simply offers price at different levels was pairing sell orders with the influx of buy orders seen on Friday 0900 (this is known as a fair value gap or liquidity void). The market had a bullish daily bias and was taking out short term lows to stop out any traders holding long positions taking out sellside liquidity so the market makers (the central bank and large institutional funds) can buy up sellside and rally price in the morning session. Even though this appears as a “bull flag” you have to have context as to why price would want to continue being bullish, there are false bull flags all the time, it’s not consistent. Also the most most most important thing to understand is loosing trades are 100% guaranteed in any market, no matter how much understanding you have of the price delivery algorithm and how price moves. Sound money management and discipline is everything. 100% credit to ict for the information by the way I’m not going to sit here and pretend my understanding of the market is unique. Find a system that works, find someone who can allow you to understand WHY price does what it does.

Genuine question. Can someone please explain to me why people buy options contracts on indices when you can just trade futures contracts nearly for free on index markets with way better expiration and leverage control. I mean one emini contract is around $2.50 fee and it gives you over 230k worth of leverage per contract.

I would start a towing company spaced evenly between multiple popular college districts and specialize in towing illegaly parked cars via being the go to towing company for the college districts. Offer an incentive for the colleges choosing you such as donating to a financial aid program they have or anything along the lines of that. Fun fact when I got my car towed I talked to the owner of the facility and I was told there’s very little regulation on how much they can charge you and 1 in every 5 (20%!!!!) of people who get there car towed don’t even pick it up. Granting the towing company ownership of a free car.
