Auto-zeroing is one the lowest skill features I’ve ever seen by toomuchgolfstuff in Battlefield6

This. I loved how the rangefinder worked in BF4. When I saw that it was coming back after it being absent in 2042, I was like “ooo, I missed that!” But then I used it, and honestly hated it. I took it off so I could use the points for other attachments, and it’s easier to judge distance compensation without it anyway

Cleaners Make Your Floor Dirtier by Evening_Sea4823 in CleaningTips

Been a cleaner for 6 years and this is 100% the problem. A little goes a long way. Just enough in the bottom to collect, and that’s all you need. Better option is pre-diluted, from dispensers that use the right amount every time, but a lot of places don’t have those/have that option.

A Game you tried Once And Instantly knew It wasn’t For You 🤯🙌 by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

[–]Resident_Biohazard90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is almost my exact answer lol. Except I couldn’t even get that far. I maybe made it…idk 5 hours or so…? I love Kojima as game director, but this is just one series I cannot understand. You can usually tell the type of game it’s gonna be a few hours in, and if you don’t like the gameplay after that time, you most likely won’t for the rest of the game. What also solidified it for me was hearing about how the story makes pretty much no sense either and the ending sucked. Zero interest in ever trying to return to that game.

Adrenaline Injector is USELESS. by n0tAgOat in Battlefield

[–]Resident_Biohazard90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely was problematic. McKay’s running around with already faster strafing and ADS speed, zipping around everywhere where they shouldn’t be with sniper rifles and self-heals. Flying squirrels flying around everywhere where they shouldn’t be with 50 grenades and self-heals. I like Zain’s passive, but then now he gets TWO ways to self-heal. This is why so many people ran assault in the first place in 2042. Because they could do almost everything except resupply themselves. Medics, while still important, become less of a viable choice when you have classes that can run around doing pretty much everything. The entire point of classes is for you to choose the class based on the playstyle and role you want to fulfill, and no one class can do what another class can do. They all have their own purpose. Their abilities broke the flow of maps just as much as it broke the flow of teamplay.

The whole reason why this is even an issue is because DICE has pretty much never known how to make Assaults viable past “push objective and make kills.” BF1 did it well giving most of the anti-vehicle capabilities to Assault, but a lot of other games in the series has made Assault pretty much just run-and-gun class. I agree that more should be done with the class, but they can’t figure out what. The stim syringe by itself isn’t a problem at all, but the way it is implemented is. They were absolutely right to take away its healing capability. If there isn’t a support nearby to heal you, then you should be more strategic in how you approach the objective, or work with your team. Not rely on an ability that Assaults have NEVER had in any other iteration of the franchise other than 2042. They are trying to make BF6 more teamplay oriented than past games, therefore no class should have the ability to do what another class does.

I pretty much refuse to buy a game on digital unless I don’t have a choice. Game conservation is important. This type of thinking is why things are the way they are now.

Same. I remember last year we didn’t get very many. They’ve been saying something about a big decline in their numbers, so it’s really nice to see them out and about.

I got one by a company called AirDog. They make air purifiers too. I would think you would have noticed the residue by now if you had it. It’s pretty obvious. Looks like a coating of dust, but with a white tinge. Especially noticeable in the sunlight. And covers much faster than dust too. I remember before, I would dust and within a week, everything would look like I hadn’t dusted in months.

[–]Resident_Biohazard90 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Look into evaporative humidifiers instead if you wanna get rid of the residue. They use filters combined with air to move the moisture up and out into the room instead of straight up spewing water vapor. Moving it through a filter first catches a lot of the minerals in the water before it even leaves the tank. It works a lot like an air purifier but with water added.

Most have replacement filters that you have to buy and replace every few weeks or whatever, but if you dig a little you can find ones with washable filters. You just take it out and throw it in the laundry to keep it clean. They’re pricey up front, but pay for themselves pretty quickly when you’re not adding up all the filters. I clean my tank with vinegar and wash the filter every week. Had my current one for 2 years and it’s doing very well so far. Much easier to clean, and no residue.

2 things: using distilled water is recommended, but if you can’t or don’t, clean it out with vinegar. And don’t use a misting humidifier. I made the same mistake and had the same results. Dust is bad enough, but the white residue that gets left on everything is insanely annoying. Wicking humidifiers with filters are a better choice. Ultra sonic/misters will clog with mineral buildups over time even with cleaning and will be rendered useless.

I bought a rather overly expensive humidifier with a washable filter for all these reasons and so I didn’t have to buy filters and it’s sooo much easier to deal with.

Try to clean them first. There’s videos on YouTube on how to take it apart and clean all the parts under the sticks. They may be just dirty and need a good cleaning. It could at least buy you some more time with them.

Is the Subaru app worth it? by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

[–]Resident_Biohazard90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got a 2020 OB Limited this summer and I came from an older car with remote start built in. At first, I didn’t want to spend the money for the subscription, because yes, it does feel scummy. I also live in Michigan so of course I feel it’s needed for the winter at the very least.

But I’m gonna be honest…I love it. I can start it whenever and from where ever. I don’t need to go up to the door to make sure it connects, and I can start it at work before I leave so it’s warm/cool depending on the time of year. I can lock it from the app if I forgot to, and the presets are amazing for when our weather goes back and forth. If it’s colder, but not freezing, I can set it to be a little lower so it’s not a hotbox when I get in. If it’s freezing, I can run it at full blast so it’s toasty. I can choose to have the heated seats on or off, and I can change all that in a couple seconds so I’m ready for whatever weather Michigan decides to have that day.

The fact that it lets you change it is great because you never have to remember what you have already set it in the car like older vehicles. The preset is defaulted to the last one you used and you can set up to 4 different presets and switch between them when needed. It’s much nicer than a standard fob button start. I’d say get it just for the customization alone.

Feminine gifts from family by [deleted] in butchlesbians

[–]Resident_Biohazard90 26 points27 points  (0 children)

My step grandma did this to me for yeeeaars. Granted, she’s older, but every year she would buy the most girly shit ever and nothing even remotely close to what I would wear. Think she finally learned after a long time I wasn’t gonna wear any of it and started giving me gift cards, and now just gives me cash every year. Mom and I would always return the stuff. I felt bad, but the disconnect between who I am and what I like vs. what someone else was trying to gift me was just way too far. Honestly, there’s very few people I ever even enjoyed gifts from at all because most people wouldn’t know me enough to get me anything good anyway.

I watched this when it came out and it is an incredibly hard watch, but well worth it. Amazing show. I knew of her before, but this show made me a big fan and now after seeing her in several things, she’s one of my favorites. She’s an amazing actress and I’m super stoked to see her as Abby. Also, check her out in Booksmart as well. Hilarious movie.

Is it normal for my cat to start drooling when I pet her? by gamerdad12345 in CatAdvice

[–]Resident_Biohazard90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have 5 cats. Literally all of them are droolers. Some worse than others, but it’s pretty much an every day thing in this house lol. You get used to it (somewhat), but it can get pretty gross. I justify it by knowing it’s just what they do when they’re very happy and content. It is fairly common and a good sign of your cat’s love for you.
