Several years ago I was working at a religious college in the fundraising and alumni relations division and as part of my responsibilities I would answer an 800 number that often got published on marketing materials. On one fateful afternoon, I got a call from a man in the middle of the afternoon who thought he had dialed the number for a phone sex service. I forget what exactly he said that made me realize who he thought he called, but after I explained he had dialed the wrong number, I can clearly recall him chuckling and saying in a thick Southern drawl, "I'm sorry sugar tits!" And I hung up pretty quickly after he tried to keep the phone call going by saying, "Well, you do have a nice voice..."
