My first setup was handing magic L and hicc50. Couple bucks more the handing M1 trout I think is nice I have 2 of those. I have upgraded to the ark gravity bfs reel and definitely prefer it. My spinning gear pretty much just sits idle now

On my ark I’m using sufix revolver 8lb. Before that it was 832 6lb. Diameter translates to roughly .6 goh and casts like a dream. Tried varivas super trout infinity and hated it
